As soon as I finished the story, I went and fully explored the map. As a completionist, the black areas were driving me nuts. Same went with FC5, FC New Dawn, AC Odyssey and AC Valhalla.
I've had them all done before finishing main story (Apart from Insurgency of course). That's how I play - explore first, unlock all map, find every secret, weapon and equipment, do all side quests and then do main storyline
Unfortunately I don’t think that will work, the removal of the skill tree sorta makes the concept of the a New Game + feature not work with FC6. BTW anybody else do New Game + and have like 25 throwable reserves? Lmfao it’s hilarious, chucking shovels at enemies for days. Lol
I personally love chorizo just being able to tell him to go to someone and make them look the other way so you can do what you need to do if that’s getting rid of the one chorizo is distracting or just sneaking by he does his job and he does it good
The 3 for me would be: 1) Insurgency,. 2) Explore and kill enemies while waiting for more DLC's and added content;. 3) Explore and kill some more, while waiting for a new game plus mode, where we can replay the game and start out as a one person Rambo/Lara Croft killing machine with everything unlocked and upgraded.
That’s what I am exactly do know it’s so many treasures hunting places that I ain’t been through and so many outposts that I ain’t done so it’s very good that they adding more content once every week I think that you can do and earn a special weapon and in the black market too
It's tricky for these kinds of games to implement new game+ because some of the loot, vehicles and amigos are tied to the story/missions so having them available from the beginning takes a little bit of incentive out of them but it's still doable and I'd love to see it. AC valhalla has the same problem and ubisoft had previously said they weren't going to do a new game+ but I read somewhere that they are working on it now although thay could be just some bs internet rumor. Farcry doesn't have seasonal events as of yet which is promising because one of the reasons they didn't want to add New Game+ for valhalla was because they didn't want players to be in the intro of the game during a seasonal event like a festival or something. Fingers crossed we get it though
I love the fact that if you have already gotten whatever gun was supposed to be in the case that you get gunpowder instead. If you can be aggressive about it, that helps even more with getting more add-on stuff for weapons.
I remember in far cry 3 enemy spawning was tied to the outpost's so after completing the story u could reset all the outpost's which would also reactivate all the enemy spawn points within a 10 mile perimeter of the outpost's making it so that the players could have endless random enemy encounters as long as the outpost's remained hostile for me this made endgame open exploration far more fun and exciting infact I was able to play far cry 3 for years after completing the main story just cause of that 1 feature
I gotta be honest, as much as i loved this game, im finding the endgame content to be a bit... Underwhelming... No new game+ kind of hurts... And this "Insurgency" system isnt as cool as i thought it would be. Basically now we have to wait a week (in real time) before one or two random outposts reset instead of just reseting them all ourselves. Alltogether it only takes about 40 minutes to completely wipe out an insurgency and then you gotta wait another week. It does come with some new weapons, and the spec ops missions are kind of cool, but I'd rather just be able to reset the all the outposts myself 🤷🏾

Prior to watching this, I think the first thing I did after finishing was unlock and upgrade all the camp stuff. Started in immediately on insurgency stuff as well. And unlocked Chiccaron, love that bird, he's great, lol
All these things I did before endgame. I ended up chasing down the cryptographs or whatever just for achievement but am just stuck waiting in between insurgencies now. Hoping some other content comes to this.
Game is pretty solid even tho Idc for or like the amigos.. or the banditos.. or the insurgency.. I pretty much only care for the side missions and main story. 🤷♂️
I am just cleaning up all the extra stuff to do like the treasure hunts etc and the stories. Already beat this weeks insurgency so back to cleaning things up again. Pretty much the same thing I did with FAR Cry 5 and New Dawn.
MK II mods only go on the overclock weapons from what I've seen so they act as their own weapon type and don't share mods with the non overclocked weapons of the same class.
I liked how you could re-oppress towns and bases in Far Cry 4. Wish that was in this game. There aren't any challenges either, so no need to do any stealth whatsoever.
Sounds crazy but, I turn off the hud and deselect all modifications to my weapons. Then I go to a random area and just go full predator. It’s especially fun on hard difficulty
If only the final mission weren't bugged, I too could enjoy finishing the game like the rest of you guys. Unfortunately you can't come back into the final mission and make any progress if you traveled away from it for any reason. Super cool!😠
After beating the game I went to libertad’s base climbed the tower and just stared. Then I grabbed a boat and went fishing with Boom Boom for a solid 20 minutes.
What I did after I beat Far cry 6 which was like yesterday I kinda started to tear up because I wanted the kid to live I forgot his name but he was so kind and wasn’t like his father Castillo and I stared to think what would have happened if I didn’t kill McKay but ya
I finished, did insurgency, which was fun, then another straight after. Lola's missions are great. overall I was disappointed by the ending. could of had a choice of two endings which would of been nice.
@thomas burns hover over the piece of clothing, select inspect, then the appearance icon at the bottom ( eye icon), then you can change the appearance of it to any item you have already unlocked, keeping the perk the same.
First thing I did after I beat the game was start going through the trophies. Of course the assholes put in a trophy that needs you to play co op so I guess I’m never getting the platinum.
It will take forever now when the game is live service just look at valhalla no ng+ just more armors in shop and those festivals in the camp but no ng+ so here it will be special operations that will open up more later on and then your weekly inurgents
Has anyone gone for all the FND bases and checkpoints? I wish I could see a progress bar on that. Also I encountered ALOT of glitches making missions unbeatable. That was a hassle trying to get certain things to trigger or next sections to unlock. But overall I had fun playing the game.
Mine has glitched! It says that i have already taken out the boss but i haven’t recieved the xp and the spesial gun? Does someone have a answear to this problem?
Screw this waiting around for a week shit they should add a "force insurgency" option like resetting outposts but for a whole region make it kind of like a mix of the current system minus waiting a week (seriously who thought this was a good idea) and new dawn's system
Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm having serious trouble getting gunpowder what I'm happening to do is travel between safe houses collecting the missions from the NP c's and hoping it's a air drop interception
Because I have collected so much fnd crates I don't evan know if there are any on my maps and if there is I am having a hard time finding them I have talked to so many NPC and they just show me armor crates
Fun game but I'm rather disappointed not being able to see the awesome gears that the game offers. So what exactly is the point creating nice gears when the dev cut it out completely by not providing 3rd person view gameplay. During a fire fight it is fckng annoying as fck when enemies are shooting in multiple directions and you can't compensate fast enough due to limited fpv gameplay view.
The ending of the game is seriously underwhelming. Giancarlo is just a cutscene character, not even in the game. They could have had a simple showdown. 99% of guns and vests are useless so doesn’t even make sense to collect them. Get SKS and armor piercing ammo and you are done
Insurgency makes the game redundant due to lack of enemies counter offensives. Also all those walls in Esperanza should be dismantle after the death of Diego and his father. Lack of progress in story development such as establishing a new functional government is non existent for end game play. Also lack of ability to call NPC back up to participate during base or checkpoint take over and raids are non-existent. Too many messing gameplay ad-on.
So the only thing this video amounts to (other than hysterically mispronouncing Moneda), is Insurgency as end game content... All those other things are not end game, Insurgency takes less than 45 minutes to complete going slow... Yeah, a real value add here...
Live service games are weird. You grind for stuff to grind for more stuff, there's no real substance. Last week I played Destiny 2 for the first time in a year. Great game but I was bored within a week, literally one week per year is enough for any of these endless loop titles. For kids that can't afford to buy games it's a decent idea but not for adults. I just bought this and I'm hoping to complete it before the 11th. Then I'm gonna delete it from my hard drive and re-play the GTA trilogy.
Except the spec ops and crafting which was in New dawn, oh and the leader which are new, the Moneda shop stuff which is new finding legendary weapons which is also new… (you bought them before) don’t be silly Fiend Knight.
