The last, but most detailed look at the Awesome Rolling Toolbox. 1-1/2 hours of video creatively edited down to 12 minutes. Give it a like, share it, subscribe, or just send money. Paulk Plans Here: www.paulkhomes.com/order-plans...
Outstanding, exceptional, and incredible work. This trailer is the definition of efficiency. I also love the fact that you didn't spend a lot of money on drawer slides. Thank you so very much for all of your hard work producing these immensely informative videos!
Enjoyed the video tour. Gives everyone ideas on building and stocking their own rolling tool trailer. Lucky guy who bought your rolling tool box. Looking forward to your next build, new design, and hopefully being able to purchase your blueprints/sketchup plans to aid in my build. Keep 'em coming!
this was awe inspiring...a dream to have this trailer...I work in the movie business and the construction coordinators come in with 53' trailers loaded down with tools but few are very organized
Thanks Ron Lots of good ideas. We had a trailer in the army for combat engineers for construction that folded out into a shop. I like yours better. IT took 10 guys to set up in about an hour. yours is easy in and easy out.
Nice trailer Ron! you know how to 5S well! maybe you can incorporate some KANBAN techniques into the consumables in your next trailer? looking forward to what you make next! cheers, Kerry
Nice Ron, you're a star for sharing your experiences and knowledge. After putting this together and using it, do you think there are any places where you may have over-built any of the components? I don't recall from your past vids, but what thickness of plywood are the drawers and other moveable components made of? Looking forward to the next chapter.
great vid and sweet trailer. lots of ideas I will use. I just wanted to know how u stop the drawers falling down when open and full and what table saw do u use. I'm just about to upgrade. cheers
Hi Ron, Thanks for sharing your videos. I downloaded the ART plans yesterday. Just curious to know if you have the total weight difference once completed.
Hey Ron, out of curiosity, roughly how many sheets of plywood do you have invested in the Awesome Rolling Toolbox? I'm replacing the trailer I have with a newer, smaller trailer and would love to use a few of the ideas you have outlined in this series.
Viewtainers can be found at Home Depot, Walmart, Viewtainer webpage, etc. If you place a large order through Viewtainer, you can ask them for a discount code. Walmart.com had some sizes and colors on sale the last time I looked.
If you take a closer look, they're all different from each other, made by Fastcap. I see the Metric/Standard, Lefty/Righty (Standard Reverse), True 32, Burn One, Flatback, and Square One. They're generally the same but specific in what they help you do. I have a few of Fastcap's tapes.
Ron Why are you moving to a 12" trailer? Do you find that a 14 is too long? How do you deal with long moldings in the Pacific NW? I was thinking of selling my 12" to get a 14v nose. I am interested in hearing your thoughts. Thx :)
Mike, my trailer is a tool trailer. I don't haul materials in it. The trailer goes to the job and stays. I use my pickup with lumber racks for materials.
Tried to watch but something in your image stabilization or video production technique is created visual distortions that are making me queasy / nauseous.
