TSN Analyst and Reporter Farhan Lalji joined the guys to recap the Canucks Game 7 loss to the Oilers, Rick Tocchet's job and the Lions pre-season getting underway.
Everyone's upset about the Pettersson deal because of his playoff performance - Hronek had 1 goal in the last game of the year. If they can at least recoup what they paid for him, I think they move him and use that to get a comparable player for a lower cap hit.
@@christhornycroft3686 Hronek is one of the main reasons Vancouver made the playoffs this year. Finding tough, solid defencemen like him is like finding a diamond. He is more valuable to the Canucks than lazy Petey.
If we can keep as many players left on this team as we can I think we can do better. I'm still a little bit worried Thatcher demco he tends to get injured a lot. As amazing as he is It's definitely a little bit of a red flag we need him healthy when the time comes. We probably would have won a Stanley cup if our goaltender was super healthy throughout the entire playoffs
Fun Fact : The 3rd string goaltender Silovs played amazing. Vancouver got eliminated because they believed the media hype saying they were an elite team. Their arrogance cost them.
If we had a star goaltender throughout this whole playoff series. We would be in the finals right now. Everybody always says goaltending is what gets you to win a cup We have the best goaltender in the entire world are we made it to the second round game 7 without him what does that tell you about this team huh
Goaltending is not why Canucks got beaten by Oilers. They could not score enough and Oilers dominated physical play. They need their offensive guys to score more and some more toughness and grit.
