Join me in South Australia’s gorgeous countryside as I paint a plein air landscape on the side of a road in Farm Beach. My focus was on detail for this painting and I was on location for 9 hours….. although one hour of that was spent chatting with a local. I love how happy you are with your paintings!👍 That wind does make painting outside much more difficult for sure. I live in the southwest (New Mexico). We have lots of wind. Those wildflowers would have drawn me to want to paint that scene as well. Beautiful painting Kate.😊

Yes I think wind is a painters worst enemy it makes it so much more challenging! We didn't use to have so much of it here in Australia but for the last 7 years or so we get a lot of wind. Yeah the wildflowers were beautiful 😍 thank you so much!!!
