One of our favorite parts about covering cars abroad - seeing not only the different kinds of style and builds, but also where they come from. like this dreamboat of a brown BMW E30 wagon, swapped with a turbodiesel BMW engine... that was built on a FARM. Yup, no fancy shop stuff here. This peach of a daily was built in the same place that animals live and prosper. Amazing.

shame the builder RUINED it with those overly wide wheels and stretched tyres, which are technically illegal in the UK, although unfortuantely very few people are ever given a ticket over this safety issue, or fail the MOT for it.

Funny - my first car was a brown 77 Carolla liftback. At that time I did not hate it but kind of wished it was another color.

Never knew an E30 3 Series wagon was built! Guess that's why we never got em here. That is a clean build, with the diesel and airride suspension. Love it.

What a well executed build. This guy should be creating beautiful cars for a living he would be undoubtably be very successful. Reminds me of my VW Scirocco Storm Mk I which was chocolate brown. The BMW brown/bronze is much more appealing to the eye.

2.5TDS in an E30 is very common. Come on over here, we have several M57D30 swapped E30s. The M57 is the next generation engine, 24v, more power from the factory and WAAAAYY more potential for power, too. Some are turned up for the drag strip, too.
