Beautiful truck. I love the OBS GMC/Chevy trucks. I hate the color though. I have a ‘98 GMC K3500 ext cab long bed with the 454. I also have a ‘96 Dodge Ram 2500 with the 5.9 Cummins ext cab long bed, she’s my daily. My GMC is my heavy tow pig. The Ram has a manual transmission and it’s red with black interior and the GMC has the automatic transmission and it is black with maroon interior.
Technically, my GMC isn’t a Sierra. It has no badges, GMC 3500, GMC truck, SLE nothing. Only the steering wheel and grille has GMC on it. Up until 1999, Silverado, Sierra, Sierra classic, custom deluxe, Cheyenne, Scottsdale were trim level. GM dropped them all except Silverado and Sierra but they aren’t trims anymore.
This one was a real find. Paint came out beautiful too! and the interior as if it was never sat in. They're out there still... Thanks for the interest! Check out our other videos on the 3500 truck.
I own 3 of these bad boys. All have the 454. 98 extended cab 2 wd. Mint 42k miles. 95 4X4 extended cab 161K miles (runs like a champ) and a 2000 4X4, 4 door, 8' bed 115K miles runs like a champ. 454 motor picks up these heavy trucks and moves it down the road no problem. Gas mileage? Well, lets just say its not good. I get about 8 and 11. But I love the trucks and any of the gas savers on the road better not pull out in front of me. You know, blow a stop sign or red light. That will be their last mistake.
@@classicperformance you're welcome. No joke . Always have had a true love for duallys, I drive for a living, when I retire will get a dually, hope it's nice like yours. Hard to find them not abused or horribly altered.
eBay. Easy to put on w three nuts on studs. Have marker lights in the front and backup projector bulbs on the mirror side or can be hooked up to courtesy lights.
Here's what it has: The factory manifolds, pipes, cats, and cut before the dual in muffler which was single out adding two vertical Flowmaster 40s and two outlets. No crossover, No X pipe and no H pipe. Actually really quiet in the cab.
It can tow about anything hooked to it. As far as equipment, you would most likely have a gooseneck trailer and the capacities vary upon what gears it has. Pin weight is not to exceed 3,000 per 10,000 GVR limit. 3.42.....13,500 lbs 3.73.....15,000 lbs 4.10.....17,000 lbs 4.56.....19,000 lbs
