I love how edge transit gives me the hidden "Edging" buff that eventually turns into the "Gooning" perk that shoots vex milk at the enemies. 10/10 would edge again😊
@@Gabi-nq7vz on hunter it’s still worth it to get a cascade point bait and switch roll for a quick mag dump/dodge reload/mag dump again. But you should also get an envious bait and switch roll.

I'll never forget my first Edge Transit when Forsaken first dropped. It had the godly combo of Snapshot Sights and Quick draw. That was the fastest shit I've ever seen since my last coffee break.
If anyone is curious, I did the math and I believe if you disregard the barrel perk, and only want columns 2,3,4 and the masterwork, there is a 2 in 27,783 chance to get it when you get a random shiny drop👍 And if you want the full god roll at the end, it’s a 2 in 583,443 chance so yeah, rare.
I just hit an Envious/Cascade Point, Bait and Switch/Explosive light Shiny roll… but the barrel perks are- Confined Launch/Linear Compensator Magazine perks Alloy Casing/Proximity Grenades He didn’t mention proximity grenades and I did not even see it on the list of perks that he showed??? Is this roll worth keeping?
Deconstruct getting a nerf is a bummer on everything but primaries. The Ros Arago auto rifle can roll Deconsrtuct+Rewind Rounds and never has to reload as long as you don't miss. feels like a legendary version of sweet business lol.
It's only really a nerf to Special and Heavy weapons because it used to give ammo from thin air like FTTC but in TFS it's going to pull from reserves. I don't believe the activation thresholds are going to change so for primary weapons like that Ros Arago or Parabellum it should still work the same.
@@pirate135246 Deconstruct gives a damage buff. Even without, it is solid dmg. It’s an auto they do solid dmg in PvE even in high end content. Continuous damage is pretty good. Reload is the single biggest killer of dps. It’s destiny bruh. You can do ad clear with damn near anything. Volatiles rounds and void surges are your friends.
@@elijahkisamo5768 yeah but its a legendary primary... you are never using primaries for dps, and for add clear legendary autos are shit, also deconstruct only gives a dmg buff against vehicles
@@EvilskyworshippersIts hardly 2 weeks, my god roll palindrom still kicks to this day. Its more about meta weapon rotation, often they will nerf an archetype but if your smart and keep it theres a high chance it will still get use in later seasons when the meta rotates again.
Something else to keep in mind with surrounded: the well nerf in the final shape will make the perk even harder to take advantage of. Managing surrounded on a gl while walking in and out of a bubble is a recipe for disaster and well's reduced healing may not be enough to keep you alive
Yeah I’m happy with mine. Hard Launch, spikes/mini frags, auto-loading/chain reaction, b&s/deconstruct. Velocity masterwork. Auto-loading is clutch because I’m running it with lucky pants malf build and it’s just kinda nice for questing
This may be on super worth it, but loadout swapping from Mini or Aug with Backup to Spike will still grant 24 in the mag. I don't know how efficient this is, but I use this strat on one of my other GLs, and it works well for me.
Does anyone else still have an OG Edge Transit in their vault? I had to keep one for old time’s sake. It still makes me laugh every time I see it scrolling through my vault.
3:35 Perk swapping is being addressed for Final Shape, correct? Pretty sure the dual perk won't combo anymore. Still nice to have the option on a single weapon though.
Just don't go too crazy farming this as Bungie is aware and is nerfing/changing the Cascade/Envious swap off interaction so it may not be as good. Still good to have both rolls imo but I don't think we'll be able to do the swap shenanigans we're seeing here.
Tbf, It's a cheesy interaction that imo really shouldn't really exist in the game, so I wouldn't even call it a nerf. Last thing this game needs is a more hotswapping-dominated meta.
I've got 4 different rolls, all different variants of envious assassin or cascade point & either explosive light or bait & switch. I'm not wasting time hoping for a 7/7 god roll. I'll just bring with me whatever the encounter demands.
Yeah auto loading is the real champ. Literally swap and shoot one bullet on another gun and the thing will be fully loaded when you switch back. Want a bait and switch cos I’ve got auto load and deconstruct atm which is getting a nerf
Just checked the vault and iv got an envious with bait and switch non shiny edge transit, good to know at least if I don't get the shiny iv got a decent-ish roll.
you can start stacking with envious + augmented drum + backup mag(you have all the reserve on the mag), then switch the augmented drum into spike. so +mag perk and spike, envious + cascade, bns + explosive light
My full court, chain reaction roll is an add clear monster. I see a set of enemies start spawning and one shot from all the way downtown can easily clear a room and still shreds bosses.
That makes more sense now. I had a envious/deconstruct/sticky roll and it seemed like it wasnt consistent. Thought i was going crazy and spent a solid 20 mins in a mission shooting tanks and threshers. Ended up just sharding that roll
I can’t wait to get this godroll edge transit so I can show my raid team how good I can edge in damage phases In all seriousness this is probably one of if not the best GL you can grab, no headache of trials matches or slogging through nightfall runs you can run onslaught and if it’s focused get a solid roll in no time. Next week is double shiny drops too so even easier to get the best version
Really hope redeeming tokens gets me the shiny. 12 runs of onslaught over the weekend and I got 2 shinies. Also, it’s amazing how many people throw round 49.
Thanks for that video I have a lot of those god rolls and didn't know the difference with mags and barrels but now I do really informative.....I'll let you know when I get that shiny roll as farming for it now as I got my godslayer 😊
I tried out the drop rates for this increased shiny weapon drop today. I have to say I wasn’t impressed. I had saved up 730 brave trophies and I got about 8 shiny weapons out of this double drop rate increase. I wasn’t impressed at all. I didn’t even get variants that were worth keeping. I was expecting to be showered in these special variants. But sadly I only got 8. safe to say I’m burnt out and done with onslaught. I feel like this was a “gotcha” move by Bungie. Oh well, time for a week off.
My Non Shiny Edge is as follows Quick Launch Spike Grenades Chain Reaction Explosive Light Indomitability Kill Tracker It's a spicy Grenade Launcher. I kind of like it lol I have Minor Spec in the Mod Slot. It's masterworked with Velocity as the focus.
If you can't get the shiny with the two perks in the same column like good ol lucky Aztecross here... just use Regnant crafted version with Envious, Cascade or Envious, explosive light. IF you can't get this shiny one.
Full court works great with sticky grenades, the damage buff gets calculated by the time between you shooting the grenade and it exploding, so you get the full buff, no matter how close you are to the boss
I got Hard Launch/Mini Frags/Envious Assassin+Cascade Point/Bait and Switch yesterday. The only problem is that it came with a blast radius ME😭😭😭 Let us reroll masterworks, Bungie, for the love of all that is holy. Destination Nightfall weapons used to be able to. Duty Bound, D.F.A, and others. Hell, make it require the weapon to be fully masterworked and cost an ascendant alloy, an upgrade module, and 50k glimmer to do, but please, let us have control over the masterwork on all weapons. MWs can make or break god rolls if it's the wrong one
Cross.... Please proc cascade again when you do these tests. You'll get more DPS by swapping back to the sniper, landing 2 crits, and cascading the rest of the mag, rather than slowly firing
I got this shiny roll without even focusing it, the fucking RNG gods made me wait 4 weeks for Mountaintop Shiny and Midnight Coup shiny until yesterday to make up for it.
Cross, for next video and dmg comparisons, put it side by side, like minifrag/spikes its annoying clicking back to see the numbers comaprisons as they are not so different and hard to remember.
If you have a bunch of orbs in a well and proc B&S and then insanely quickly swap to explosive light and then pick the orbs up can you stack them like that or does B&S go away?
Had a hard launch+spike nade/envious/bns and didn’t realize I had a blast radius MW till I enhanced my perks. So now I lost DPS because it maxes your masterwork when I didn’t want that 😂
Course this is the one change they're not addessing with whatever theyre gonna do to the envious cascade roll bc it's the last thing keeping people playing onslaught atp
FOr Koraxis's Distress, since the issue highlighted was DPS I would have tested a reconstruction, or better yet envious assassin, to remove the 3 reloads you had in there. I don't think you gave koraxis a fair shot
The exact response from Bungie: "We saw this discussion and wanted to let you know that we're currently evaluating the interactions of this combo. While we don't have a specific change currently planned yet, we wanted to give a heads up before anyone grinded too hard for this rare perk combo that its likely to be altered in the future. " They're gonna give you guys something like alacrity or some nonsense.
I got a shiny Ambitious/Cascade but with Full Court/Frenzy. So close! Might just have to chase this again next week. I still don't have either Recluse or Elsie's with Repulsor/Destabilizing though.
Can't you also swap from augmented drum to spike nades after you overflow it if you have them on the same roll? Obviously getting said roll would be astronomical chances.
