I’m a farmer here lol- somebody tried to force me to sell some chickens during uk lockdown as they thought it would work out better than buying a box of 6 eggs for £1.50 from the stand at the gate, the general public is so annoying around a farm as they don’t follow basic safety and blame us for their stupidity when things go wrong Edit: spelling

Aren't people from the country side required to learn a whole lot of complicated machinery's from a young age due to farms being a life long generation spanning commitment along with the legally required education standards of an average person? Technically speaking, farm workers are more educated in a rather intricate field of knowledge than the average person.

I used to work at Walmart and one story sticks out as most rememberable as someone was using drugs in the bathroom and apparently it went wrong as there was blood everywhere even on the ceiling of the bathroom, it's not something I'll likely ever forget

I live in a suburb near a lot of farmland. Drive a mile and you’ll see cows, chickens, produce etc. People near me sell farm fresh milk, eggs, honey produce etc out of their homes all the time. Yes it is more expensive than the store. But it’s fresh and organic. Just out of curiosity I decided to look up how much it would cost to raise chickens. I eat a lot of eggs, why not? My husband and BIL had 2 chickens as pets when they were kids so they already told me, bad idea. Although I believed them there wasn’t any harm in doing more research. The more I learned the more I became disgusted with chicken farming. Karen if you think you’re smarter than country folk, prove it by doing research.

So I did some basic research of taking care of a cow. So there are extremely specific ways to raise cows for milking and it isn’t cheap doing it at a small scale. So the lady would be paying more for milk while having to meet current criteria so the cow can produce milk at a consistent rate or even at all.

Has this karen ever taken care of another living creature. A cow's care is way more than 1 euro cost of milk hell it way more than the $3 a gallon in USA stores. In America a single cow would need 1 full acre, hundreds of dollars of mineral/medicines, twice a year breeding (so bull renting), plus need constant human contact to stay calm. That's in the hundreds if not thousands.

Cows can be THAT big! The lightest one is about 1,600 LBS. that's just the female ones but for the Males or Bulls about 2,500 LBS. & you have to hire somebody that trim the hooves which it's EVERY 4 - 6 weeks It's like that one part/scene from Jaws instead of a boat or ship "You're gonna need a bigger location!" I mean with the cows they can be in 0.50 Million dollars - 0.50 Billion dollars and that's about the biggest meadow you need

You don’t need any registration for a cow anywhere because cows can be held in a backyard or a fenced in area because I have raised cattle in my life you do need a business license to run a dairy farm

Up until the part where he complained to the head office I thought maybe the guy was a refugee from some third world country where indoor plumbing isn’t even something the father ever heard of, but the fact that he knows what a head office is and how to contact them and the necessity for lying to them to gain their support is sufficient evidence to discount this theory.

I can see in another universe,where they were able to buy the male cow named Emma,When Emma grows up,he will be in a bad condition from the kid giving them non pet-friendly popsicles and other processed food,and then the mother squeezes his bright red balls and only little to not sperm comes out,But they drank it and got 15 diseases, 6 of them are unknown/new,1 of them makes it harder to die and 2 of them are spreadable and they become pregnant with 6 cow furries,they gave birth at almost the exact time,the daughter dies,and the mother dies on they're last push as blood splats on they're shiny car,the calf's grow up and is Zombie-like and the whole continent goes on lockdown Oh and Emma dies

This may seem like an odd comment but at least he didn’t let his kid go in the middle of the floor or on a stack of waters across the hall and within eyesight of the bathrooms. 8 cases of water were trashed due to this event, that’s 12 bottles per case so ya a lot of water was wasted :(

Farmers, tough breed i don't think i have enough room for all the stories of mine, dad's, older brother's, 3 older cousins', my uncles... all males, I'm the only girl........ we ain't dead yet. And my mom was a nurse, so it was a lot of yup, yeah that's fine, youll be fine. Lol (i also went into health care, ER then surgery lol also terrible patients.) When i was 29 i broke my wrist, it was a stupid simple fall backwards, tried to catch myself and *snap* I stood up and just said f yuck, i just broke me wrist. My BF(30) at the time) DIDN'T believe me, i was work a lot of ortho at the time (not a fan of ortho, that's just a wierd side note) You could see the obvious displacement and malformation of the carpus. bf says "ha ha shut up, you didn't break it ha ha ha. I broke my arm before and needed a cast. The hurt youd be crying your eyes out if that was really broke" then thought he would suprise me and catch me in an act or lie and poked it with his finger resulting in a loud yell....BF: "shit you really broke it! Its broken! What do we do what do we do?!?! " 🤨😮‍💨🙄 told him "get me a butter knife and my bag of vet wrap" i splinted it my self cause he was to scared to go near it 🙄 let alone hold a peice of banadage material. Then he recently had his 2nd dwi so no driving or it was going for 10+ years next time or perm gone. So i also drove to the er. I had multiple people come in to show off the home made splint, doc said, wow that looks better than mine, then shocked when i said i splinted it then drove here, "stabalization of the fracture help pain control"
