The good thing is that you already had clover established in there so the inoculate is not that imperative as the Rhizobium bacteria should still be in the soil. Plus, adding the inoculated seed to the mix will help too. It will be interesting to see how fast this spring planting grows being that it was planted this time of the year.
Will be very curious to see how it turns out. All the right conditions, just curious if it can establish enough to handle our summer heat. We shall see! Will defiantly over seed in the fall with more clover and oats or something for a nurse crop.
If I have I have never noticed it. Even with dove fields I fertilize & seed and turn them both over at the same time. Has worked well for years. I have even spread fert and millet over standing dead wheat doing "no till" and the millet came up great. Doesnt seem to hurt anything in my experience
