ਦਵਿੰਦਰ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਜੀ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪੱਧਰ ਦੇ ਖੇਤੀ ਮਾਹਿਰ ਨੇ । ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੁਸਕਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਗਿਆਨ ਹੈ। ਕਿਸਾਨੀ ਦੇ ਹਰ ਮੁੱਦੇ ਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਗਿਆਨ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਮੁੱਦੇ ਦਾ ਹੱਲ ਵੀ ।ਹਰ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਣਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ

ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਸੱਚੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ।ਵੱਡੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਝੋਨੇ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਛੋਟਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਤਾਂ ਮਜਬੂਰੀ ਹੈ।ਤਾਂ ਹੀ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਬੱਚਤ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ।

Farmers all over the world are facing global economic threat from few businesses houses. Sikh should be discussing or presenting solutions to farmers, laborers and smal businesses. But unfortunately states are more happier to indulge us in petty matters of Sikhs.

These views are to be analyzed and common persons like me are to be sensitised about the pathetic condition of farmers.The farmers are also entrepreneurs but are the risk takers as their produce is in open vulnerable to natural calamities .This 50% population has been taken for granted and had been a mere vote bank to be used in elections.The suppliers of farm inputs are flourishing but farmers income is nosediving every year.Even after losses farmers are still continuing their profession profession. Hats off to them for their resilience and perseverance.

ਡਾਕਟਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵਾਧੂ ਅਨਾਜ ਛੇ ਬਲੀਅਨ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਘੱਟ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਹੀ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਪਾਣੀ ਬੱਚ ਸਕੇ।ਬਾਕੀ ਮੁਫ਼ਤ ਟਿਊਬਲਾ ਦੀ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਮੇਰਾ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਬਾਦਲ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਵੋਟਾ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਾਤਰ ਮੋਟਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਿੱਲ ਮਾਫ਼ ਕਰਕੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦਾ ਬੇੜਾ ਗਰਕ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ

We know the problem, so quality is more important than quantity. Secondly the purchaser is not paying less but it is the middleman who is pocketing more money. One more thing is too much production of rice and wheat, diversification,and contractual farming to be encouraged, govt help in technology, plantation of oil seeds, poultry, dairy and other segment s to be augmented. All this combined with village tourism and other ways of increasing income to be encouraged. Trees for wood and fruit , well there are so many things which can help both the farmer and consumer. What is required is an Indian strategy and outlook to the problem. MSP cannot work since too many variables at play. However some new system to ensure that real income goes up. Again loan waiver is not a way out. Crop insurance to be made compulsory. I think the people who knows the problem also know the solution or at least the direction to be taken. Make successful models so that a cut and paste job with minor tunings can be done.
