Very good presentation and good ideas. However, in the Q&A about the 50 min mark, a guy asks if it is ok to turn animals in on 8 to 10" growth. Answer was if you can pull it out by the roots then no, clip it and wait till it gets back to 8 to 10 inches. This answer sounds like academia from 20 years ago. Why would you clip it? Why not let it continue to grow? If you clip it you set back the roots. Cattle can graze grass that is 20 or 30 inches tall. You can leave 12 inches plus after a grazing pass. I think the short grazing mindset is why most are out of grass. This is the year that tall grazing has paid off.
