Farah was such a down to earth person...not conceited in the least. Just a very real, sweet and beautiful person...so sad that she is gone. Miss her still.

Seemed like a lovely, SHY person and I always got the impression that with Ryan Loser O'Neal she was a battered woman. Maybe that was why she could make her role in The Burning Bed so believable. Rest in Love, sweet Farrah.

The "Charlie's Angels" theme, I love it!! My brother had that same poster plus a few other racy ones. My mom made sure that he had a book/trophy case strategically placed so anyone come up to the bedroom level would be spared a glimpse.
Still can’t believe that the Oscar in memory left out Farrah on purpose. She made about a dozen theatrical films and even was nominated for a golden globe for Extremities.

I think watching her on these type shows, she hated the phony fawning over her by the show hosts. If u watch others, its why she is nervous, I think she hated THIS part of the actress thing. She liked the work but not the icky schmooze fest BUT she was touched by the fan’s love. She led a pretty fast life, dumped a really good man & chose to shack up with that creep Ryan. Sad. I wish Farrah had had more support shown to her by Ryan O'Neil when she was ill. I felt terrible for her. I'm glad her female friends were there n accompanied her out of US for cancer treatment. Maybe she wanted him to remain in CA. N look after Redmond. Very sad how red turned out.
this was the morning after the Letterman show where she was supposedly on drugs. Clear-eyed, witty and funny. And just like Letterman Rosie is enchanted with her.
Rosie really tried :(. I think Farrah was taken aback by how much love she was getting from Rosie and the audience. If anything she shied away from the praise calling the doll creepy. While Rosie thought it was the only coolest ever! I wish Ferrah had more confidence at this point, it's really about inner beauty :(
Farrah Fawcett was never bigger than Micheal Jackson at any point in their careers. Micheal Jackson and the Jackson 5 burst on the scene in 1969 long before anyone knew who Farrah Fawcett was. Farrah Fawcett only became sort of Famous in 1976 with the pinup poster and of course Charlie Angels TV series debut that same year which she left after only 1 season. Their were many Female singers way more popular before, during and after Farrah short phenomenon. Farrah Fawcett was never on MJ level of stardom period.
I think she was already sliding into addiction here. I worked at a studio in Burbank at the same studio as she. Occasionally, she and her friend, Alana Stewart, would come out of Farrah's dressing room obviously high---apparently on coke---with her friend Alana Stewart. The director would have to send Farrah back for a few hours, asking Alana to stay out and let Farrah rest. The reason that she was asked to return to her dressing room was an open secret. Also her plastic surgery in person didn't look good. She was so beautiful before it.

I’m a little disappointed that Farrah didn’t explain what she was doing with Robert Duvall at the Four Seasons in February of 1997. They were filming The Apostle (1997) which was released later that year in limited release and widespread in 1998. Farrah has a small but memorable part as a preacher’s wife who falls in love with another male member of the church. Robert Duvall plays her husband and gives the performance of his career imho.
Farrah's demeanor and body language here is odd. I'm not sure what's going on, but something was up with her. This is very close to the same odd body language she displayed on David Letterman, but her speech was reasonably coherent here on Rosie. This was close in time to that infamous David Letterman interview.
Farrah was extremely socially shy. Also, she was always naturally little girl-ish. So she jumped about, was skittish, but she was so lovely to talk to. Here she is acting like she and Rosie are having a slumber party. She was a highly sensitive woman and "press" bothered her, but she muddled through as best she could. It is really difficult to be in the world when you have a personality like that. I'm sure, too, that Ryan O'Neal took away a lot from any confidence she had.
I don't know for sure, but by this time i really don't think they were Farrah's own teeth....the teeth didn't look the same......and it changed her mouth and smile completely.....
Farrah left Charlie's Angels after one season because it wasn't artistic enough for her, yet this is the only role she is know for and even on this show they played the Charlie's theme.
Farrah's high here. If you don't believe me, compare this to the infamous Letterman interview, when she was high too. Then compare THOSE to her earlier 70s and 80s ones and notice the difference.
