When Farrah started out in Hollywood, she was the sweetest most gorgeous natural beauty on earth. So sad to see her twenty something years later after her Hollywood debut. The company you keep is like an elevator, they will bring you up or they will bring you down. She spent waaaay too much time with the wrong people. What a tragedy on so many levels.
It was the later years things went wrong due to Ryan Oneil who was the Toxic person in her life. He even pinned those horrible stories & rumors about her in the Tabloids after she dumped him in 1997. Around the time of this interview, she was Sad because her Son Redmond, who was living at Ryan's beach house, had a very serious Drug problem.
You know?, Farah was so awesome. She was the sexiest person on the planet and when she did these shoes she always dressed so classy. And she was such a good person. If I get my wish I'll hug her in heaven. Rip Farah. Xo
I always feel sad when I think about Farrah Fawcett. Yes, we are all responsible for our own lives, but everything and everyone Ryan O'Neal touches seems to end badly.
I only feel sad when I think about her Relationship with Ryan Oneil that brought her a lot of grief by 1997. She dumped him but couldn't get him completely out of her life because of their son Redmond who Ryan got started on drugs. BUT Farrah Fawcett's first 40yrs of life were wonderful. She was HAPPY and had great things going on in her life. So it's Not her entire life that was Sad, it was the later years when she reached middle age; due to Ryan Oniel.

@@amiek9269 i actually got to meet her twice. She was 5 ft 6 in. She was so incredibly nice and warm, both times I met her. Such a kind and humble person. She was wonderful to me.
gotta believe it easily because one day you are fine and the other one you are stepping toward the graveyard. It comes fast in the middle of the night to take away your health.
I always loved Farrah from day one , always searched for the hottest nearby Farrah , never found it !!!! you want probably either !!! , but sad to say my aunt passed the day before Farrah , she was so much like her , they were the same age , we were the closest two people in our days , the next day I was watching TV & the news came on of Farrah passing , I was at work , I owned a store in a mall , & had just knelled down sobbing , about Farrah news , with customers in line , I did wipe away my tears and say I was sorry , I had just lost my aunt & Farrah Fawcett , in one day SORRY !!!! then people one by one said how sorry for your aunts passing , and how much they loved Farrah, an hour later Michael Jackson dies , I couldn't believe this AT ALL !!!! I Was sad for him , we were the ed same age also , here we had i think the two most biggest Icons male and female of the 1970s & my favorite person gone in one day , This will always be the day I realized how life can take you at any moment rich or poor , BE KIND AND THINK TWICE.
Actually all the ones that die young are kind ...kinda makes you wonder ,but like they say "only the good die young" God or whoever it is up there.. want nothing but the best.. he leaves the awful ones behind on earth to suffer :)
@@carrieheffernan1685 I think Rosie was just explaining the strange behavior. I am sure it also made for a difficult interview. People criticized Letterman for his interviews with Farrah, but he was also in a weird position. He couldn’t take anything she said seriously without offending the audience so he turned to jokes.

On one hand I wished she stayed so I could see lots more of her. but I watch the shows now, and I can see why she left (my opinion) the show became too silly and formulaic after the second season.
Great great actress then went downhill thanks to Hollywood. Rosie mentioned Farrah Fawcett did her show right after the infamous David Letterman show where she was high as a kite and had to tell Pharaoh there was a white substance in her nose

She was okay back then but like so many in Hollywood they make the mistake of getting involved in attempting to affect politics and by doing that they alienate half the population, regardless of which side they happen to be on. Best to just stay out of it all.
And her younger days she actually seemed to have more self-confidence. In this interview, she's constantly picking at her clothes, moving about, flicking her hair, I wonder if any of it had to do with Ryan ...... Mr. Narcissist who destroyed all his kids.
S N that is a disgusting comment. She was extremely down to earth here. You know what’s disgusting is how most people like you love someone when they’re at their best and ooo and ah over them but when they age or when they change and evolve you say they’re “through”. You never supported them to begin with,because if you really found Farrah beautiful it was her spirit that made her loved
I can recall at least 3 appearances...one was in the late 70's I think. She had her hair long and straight. Another was around 1984. She was pregnant but had not announced it.She was wearing a skirt...may have appeared with Ryan too. And then I recall she was on with Carson sometime after that where she was telling this story and he interrupted her and then she said something funny and clowned Carson. But he was great about it as he always was with his guests.
For some reason I think Rosie was not one of the hosts that worked well with FF. Carson, Hall, and O’brian appreciated her . She liked them. It’s obvious.
If you want to know the difference from then till now just look at Mariah Carey. Pushing her fat into those tight clothes. She could learn from Farah. ( Sorry, Farah, I know you would never say anything like that.)
Twaddles McGee You dont need to be so harsh...wow. BUT agree that Farrah was awesome! On basically every single interview there was NO attitude, nothing fake/calculated, intimidating etc...A true bright beautiful star inside and out (obviously). As beautiful as she is here at what...52! I just wish she was maybe 5 pounds heavier. Otherwise, still looking gorgeous.
Jako32 she's only 52 here? She looks a decade older. Not being cruel, it's the truth. She had very obvious drug and alcohol addictions otherwise she never would have stayed with Ryan O'Neal. Any normal woman who was not abusing substances herself would have grabbed her kid and run as fast and as far as possible.
