Fascinating doTERRA VS Young Living Quality Difference 

They were partners at first then doterra left to market his own oils after lesrning the trade. I trust YL as much or more than doterra.

In reply to using YL for pregnancy/infants/children :YL has a line called "Seedlings" which has been clinically tested and proven safe for all age groups. YL also has a food grade line called "Vitality" ,which is safe for internal consumption for use in the kitchen . Also, YL can be diluted with witch hazel for a lighter scent for using in a diffuser. I have the "Desert Mist", water diffuser. It's never strong enough to need to be diluted, no matter which oils I use, or how many drops I put in it.

how is thr Aura Cacia brand? I bought it from CVS? It says no synthetic chemicals and usda organic? I also have Rare essentials i seem to like this one better

I am a certified herbalist. I've used essential oils for almost 30 years in my practice and in my family. I have the lab reports detailing synthetics in many of doterra's products. Doterra's Birch oil contains NO Birch oil in it. Their advertised frankincense frereana is actually the cheaper frankinsense carterrii. Their lavender contains geranium and chamomile. Their peppermint oil is actually the synthetic ethyl vanillin. I could go on and on. Look on the bottom of your essential oils and see if there is an expiration date. The FDA ordered that doterra put expiration dates on the bottoms of their bottles because synthetic chemical compounds do not have long shelf life and deteriorate over time greatly diminishing their efficacy and safety.

so the name "essential oils" that means that it is actually essential to the body? almost like essential fatty acids like omega 3s? we have to get essential oils in our bodies everyday?

So what are you saying??? Which one is more reliable then? I have no idea what this video is supposed to be telling us? I have invested in YL oils and have been using them before I put it out there to people and I have had a LOT of pressure to start sharing them with others. I just am not quite comfortable with that until I KNOW myself what they do for me....so I came here to see what you will say and I get very indistinct differences and really want to know what your findings are actually saying??? I love YL, but something oil is very strong I don't like it at all, I was membership but I got out few reasons is very expensive and my husband complain about smell diffusers no matter how much drop I do he still complaining, YL is very good but we want something light smell for my home, YL don't had anything like that I try other companies wish they do, other thing very important I don't feel comfortable use YL or any other companies on my prengnacy or any child from newborn baby-6 month old, who mother did good for you I not feel at all comfortable, thank you for sharing this video was interesting

Yl actually do up to 20 tests 3 times at two stages so you haven't given all truth in your comparison.

You're not saying much in your video, I did not received any answer after 6 minute of watching. When you take the respansibility of making a comparacy between 2 brands, you should come with more concludent data. More than that, you should present both companies with the same amount of information, time and attitude, otherwise you're just prejudice intentionally one of them... And I think you know what I mean

He's only comparing two MLM companies. The price for MLM oils is so high, not because of quality, but because several people are making money off one bottle of oil. Aromatics International (aromatics.com) gives you GC/MS reports on their website, so you don't have to buy a bottle of oil first like with the MLM companies. Aromatics International is also recommended by the Aromahead Institute (aromahead.com) which is approved by NAHA (naha.org) and the AIA (www.alliance-aromatherapists.org).

You are very one minded. If you don't know anything about Young Living you shouldn't be comparing the two. There is a reason why we have used and recommended Young Living oils and products above ALL other companies for more than a decade. ONE word: QUALITY. I don't say much about this but there are so many copy-cat companies out there (no names) that I had to go back to WHY we only recommend YL....EVER. It's one thing to make sure the oils you get for your company are "Pure"....anyone can do that (although most still don't). It's an entirely other thing to have the testing capability to ensure EXACT standards on the potency and therapeutic quality of all of the constituents WITHIN the oil. You can have a "Pure" oil and it wasn't grown at the right pH or harvested too early and although that lavender (as an example) may smell amazing....it has absolutely no therapeutic affect when you use it. YL is the ONLY company that can ensure this quality. Wanna know why???? (You should) Because since YL ,under the leadership and inspiration of Dr. Gary Young, has been in business over 24 years we have developed the largest library of Essential Oil samples for testing IN THE WORLD. The reason this matters is because any company can claim they have the highest quality oils on the market but the only way they know is by testing their oil against their OWN library....which NO ONE has the size of library we do for testing. So even if their GCMS test they run says their lavender is pure and high quality....compared to what?!? If they are a baby company or a knock off company they have NO WAY of saying that because they literally have nothing to compare it to. YL also has the "Seed to Seal" promise (www.seedtoseal.com). Which is not a marketing slogan....it's a process to ENSURE that every single process from picking the seeds to prepping the soil to harvest to distillation is done to OUR standards whether it is our own farm or a partner farm we work with. "Pure" and "Organic" are words that mean JACK SQUAT unless you: 1. Have the library to prove it and back it up (which we are the only company that does) I'm having Doug Corrigan teach on this soon. 2. Have appropriate testing units. --at YL we are the only company who not only runs our oils through GCMS testing, but we also have TWO GCMS-2 testers that are more in depth and more secure that we test our oils with. So biased. From :42 seconds to 3:25 you talk about doTerra. That's roughly a minute 40 seconds. You talk about YL from 3:25 to 4:02. A whopping 27 seconds. Then 22 seconds of saying links are in the description. And in case you thought maybe YL got too much time, you talked about doTerra's batch check site from 4:32-4:59, giving them that extra 27 seconds that is all you gave YL in the first place. I believe that what I'm about to say is still respectful, and it is the truth, .doTerra and YL were never partners. David Hill was YLs chief science officer.for awhile. When Gary and Mary Young were out of the United States working on one of their Equador farms, David Hill gathered Intel, proprietary information and went to some of the YL execs with the prospect of starting his own EO company using the knowledge he had acquired while working for YL. He copied many YL blends, such as dTs On Guard formula, a weak synthetic copy of YLs Theives...doTs catalogs and EO reference textbooks plagiarized YLs EO text references and dT copied many paragraphs in full, word for word. I have oils from both YL and dT. I have I have catalogs and EO textbooks from both companies. I have lab reports and documentation to verify everything I claim including the court documents from the lawsuit that YL should have won, hands down. There was absolute corruption and how dT didn't get completely shut down and lose every penny they gained from their plagiarism, their defamation of character against Gary Young and many other illegal and unethical business practices purported against YL is beyond me. I HEARD David Hill make false statements regarding dTs source of plant/resin(frankincense) materials ie ..I have documents from HK Lin making statements pro YL when he worked for YL and I have him then stating these same claims and giving dT the credit much later when he "switched" oil companies. I could go on and on. I could name names and upload pictures and documents. This EO field of discovery for me has been eye-opening and shocking. What happened to YL was tragic in the beginning of the lawsuit but they in time proved to win in character which is the concrete, LIVING proof that they continue to be THE leading, EO company in the world.
