If Kandy weren’t holding a sponge (which she said she refused to use at the start of the challenge) you wouldn’t be able to immediately say “I see Monét.”

@@charliez077 She did, that’s why it amazes me that everyone wanted Kandy eliminated. She made a decent gown and looked amazing compared to Lala’s. Poor thing was definitely sabotaged with that wig.
There always seems to be confusion when the show says "Use these materials inspired by this person, but the final look should represent you" Jessica's look was fine for what they asked for. It didn't have to give Kylie!
this annoys me so much. this happens in the show too often. the MATERIALS are inspired by another queen the LOOK doesnt have to. people, stop mixing this up!!
Jimbo definitely gave us Avant-Garde! Even though the look doesn’t quite resemble a look Trixie would wear, at least usually, I think she does resemble what Trixie Mattel’s sleep paralysis demon would look like! Lmao 😂
I’m aware of that, but I had brought that up because: 1. Raja and Kerri were judging all the looks based off if it resembled each winner’s style and aesthetic 2. It seems like the majority of the girls were going that route with the challenge.
@@demetriasmith1419 I'm not sure they were. It wasn't a Kylie look. It wasn't a Trixie look. It wasn't a Shea look. It wasn't a Monet look either. Only Alexis really tried to make something that looked like it belonged on the person whose box she got. The others, it looks more like they tried to interpret it in their own style.
Doesn't seem like ours hosts were briefed on the actual assignment. That being said, not giving a SHOOT to Jimbo is just a crime against nature. Raja was speechless.
Jimbo knows how to serve on the runway and I’m never disappointed. I was so gagged when I saw the wig on Lala like she really put it on looked in the mirror and thought the placement was good😂

@@nickness126 The problem I had with Lala's outfit was that these little things made it wrong. Yes, there was the hair, but I think if the sleeve length was a little longer, the sleeveless part was cut in a lot more so that it showed her shoulder and then the skirt brushed the floor a little more, I think it would have been a lot better. Different hair though; I think that was Alexis' hair.

I love Jimbo so much! I laughed myself sick over her look. It was actually quite pretty, but it was genius to use the pearls so simply and so hilariously. Two eyes and a smile!
I have said this sooooo many times in the comment section and imma say it again. Give these girls some damn context because watching them constantly say "ugh but it's not giving *insert queen's name*" is quite aggravating, as the whole point of the challenge was not to create looks for the queens it was to just use the materials inspired by them. Same thing happened with Kandy's Miss ____ look where they had no idea what the emmy winning reference was.
I loved what Alexis did with Trinity's treasure box. The look was everything. I'm glad she finally got noticed and won a challenge. Too bad she chose the wrong lipstick.🤷♀
A double crowning would make sense: Jimbo and Jessica have twin energies. And Jessica can be tagged in for any lip syncs that Jimbo isn't feeling up to!
I don’t think it makes sense… I like Jessica but Jimbo should not have to share the crown she is clearing this season… granted (production) a lot of the challenges this season we’re similar and in her wheel house but Jimbo is still amazing either way. She should’ve won this week as well to be honest.
They were just saying Monet is basic lol. You could just wear any old tube dress and carry a sponge. A pussycat wig would really sell it but Kandy is not really a queen who gives a female illusion at best of times

the challenge was "I'm a winner baby". To create a look that looks like you know you're the winner. They were challenged to use materials etc that a previous winner would select, but to create a winning look that the contestant would wear. They weren't supposed to create a look inspired by the queen who inspired the materials
@@tunderdiamant8651 No. If the only reason I saw Monet in that is because she was dabbing herself with a singular sponge, she didn't fit the brief. The dress Kandy had on looked like something Monet 'might' have worn on her original season.

Why aren't they ever given the actual prompt for the category? The looks were not supposed to give the queen whose materials they were using. It was never supposed to give Kerri Kylie, it was supposed to give her Jessica. But it's not Kerri's fault she doesn't know that.

Poor Roger and Carie. They were completely lost thinking the girls had made looks to resemble the fabric that they received. Especially Alexis who had created a vintage Hello Dolly , Barbara Striesand reference. Honestly it was really sweet how Rodger tried so hard to find comparisons that just weren't their 😊❤.
I think had Jimbo been able to finish the look with a proper mug designed onto the facekini (and maybe a big blonde Trixie wig) she would have won. But, with what was presented it was most definitely Alexis' win - girlie looked incredible.
All FPR episodes are taped at once - two or three days in a row. We can hear how raspy and high Kerri sounded for the last two "weeks." She's a beauty though. Fashion Photo Ruview is taped before the episodes air - which is why they never discuss what happened that week or who won the challenge or gets eliminated. They haven't seen it. Makes their judging of the looks more objective IMO. But it also means they lack any context about the challenge or the workroom struggles. Because it's a WoW show, they are entrusted (NDA) to view runway clips before it airs. This is part of what got Violet and Gottmik in an unfixable situation when the shit hit about how mean they were in their All Stars 7 critiques. All their episodes of FPR were already taped - in the can. So they could not change or soften their "attitudes". WoW buried the show behind a paywall. Other recap shows like Bussy Queen and Yuhau and Joseph Shepherd's and Alaska's are taped after the episode airs. So they have a lot more knowledge of the challenges and how social media reacted to the runways before they make their critiques. That's why they so often all choose the same winner! Bianca isn't afraid to have favorites - but she seldom criticizes the winner. Not before the next season....
I really wish they'd give these girls the actual assignment. They weren't supposed to be representing their "Winner" the assignment was to use materials that allude to them and make something that gives THEMSELVES
I didn’t like Jessica’s look. It looked thrown together. Lalas wig was a tragedy and the dress had fit issues. Kandys look was just ok. Jimbo should have won this episode.
I love Raja and Kerri together!! Raja does so well with the newer queens as mentor. I love Raja’s eye for things. Maybe Kerri Colby will be a future winner of All Stars.
It wasn't "Hall of Fame worthy," which was one of the criteria. It needed some additional elements to elevate it. Too bad she couldn't do the red gloves. She could have done a fashion forward elbow length fingerless glove. Or add some jewelry or embellishments.
