Fasching is celebrated in Germany, Austria and Switzerland over the late winter days. It marks the tradition of exorcism in winters, where people dress up in elaborate costume and dance around the city. Known to shove away the demons. The traditions are rooted in the same pre-Lenten celebrations that have taken place for centuries.
