Fassionola syrup is a tropical cocktail syrup used in the original hurricane cocktail (it's basically fruit punch syrup). This recipe is bright and punchy, thanks to the technique of ✨maceration✨. That just means we used sugar and time instead of heat to make this syrup, preserving the freshness of the fruit and giving them all time to really get to know each other.

Fassionola Syrup Recipe:
2c strawbs (260g)
1/2c passionfruit (130g)
1oz Lime juice (30g) (optional: add juiced lime husk)
1 T. Pom Molasses. (20g)
1 Fuji Apple
1.5c sugar (305g)
Hurricane Recipe:
1.5oz Rhum Agricole
1.5oz Aged Rum
2oz Fassionola Syrup
1oz Lime
1oz Orange Juice
Shake, serve in a large glass with a "pretty dumb garnish"
**I kind of put an irresponsible amount of rum in this, and that's okay! Drink responsibly.
***If you like your Hurricanes on the sweeter side, use 3 ounces of Fassionola syrup. You could also dial the rum back to 1 oz. of each rum.
