@@3rd_gen_5.0exactly automatics aren’t just flooring it, you need the right gear for powerband or else ya ass ain’t going nowhere🤣 like that green scat you could tell he was in too high of gear from the sound.
I have a 5th gen with a GM Performance LS3 495 crate on E85 with a a Circle D 4200rpm lockup stall converter car does 124mph in 3rd gear at redline with 3.27 gears
@@gloriamaletta8667 Have you addressed all the possible go wrongs? Trunion upgrade? High volume oil pump, upgraded push rods? All 5 gen 1LE’s are sticks. McCloed twin disk clutch in mine, 1 piece aluminum drive shaft, Texas speed stage 2 cam kit, fully welded3 inch stainless exhaust w stainless works headers. Car is more set up for long life and a couple times a yr road racing. It was my everyday for 4 yrs til , I bought a 19 spark 5 speed stick with a chip for putting miles on back n forth to work. I have a BMR subframe connector kit on my Camaro as well, get one it really helps the car hook and handle. No one talks about brakes so upgrade the pads as well as I have. No one practices slamming on the brakes. More go = more stopping power as well. No rich guy here , I’m a Union roofer, so I don’t have a spare 10 grand for a supercharger , hell it took me a yr to pay off the Michelin pilot sport 4 s, but they give way more confidence than the Goodyears, which are done under 45 degrees
