The GTR was clearly the fastest, but DQ's itself. They're pretty stable keeping a straight line, so I'm guessing the gtr driver was watching where the green Mustang was, instead of watching the road.
I think they should have re-ran. Mustang blew out of its lane and was allowed to take the win where as right line has no where to get if the same situation occurred. Stupid.
Aside from the final (GTR didn’t jump but clearly crossed), you’ve gotta respect how well organised this event was. All safety precautions were taken, rules were followed, and everyone was cordial with one another.
I’m glad he stuck to his ruling. I’d race anywhere where that guy is running the show! Good decision and good job not letting them pressure you into changing!
exactly and people talking about rerun......thats not how it works if you cross you lose. He didnt say if you cross you rerun. People always wanna say rerun when the rules is not in their favor.
@@bigdfitness5020 not always, if its a close race it really comes down to launch, they are essentially predicting, actual drag cars do it, funny cars, etc. On actual drag strips with real light countdowns and sensors

Great video! Some bad ass street cars there. Wasn’t behind. Wasn’t riding the line. Was in front AND next to when the mustang broke traction. Clear as day. Nothing to argue. Green Mustang doesn’t spin its over anyways. That thing was on a mission.
That really put into perspective just how fast that gen3 10speed is but kudos to the S197 because without the first gen coyote mustangs wouldn’t be as dominant as they are these days! This video is a win in my book!!!

The fact that kok is still being allowed to race in Cali is beyond me. I watch a lot of the west coast money action and the kok team always has some drama. Instead of banning fox bodies they should of not allowed kok to race. Sore losers everytime. That gtr crossing couldn't have been any clearer. They should of payed everything and done a retrace. And good on the race master, told them there was no if and or buts, that was his final call.
Exactly, not to mention one of them on camera as the first and only one to say “oh yeah, when that thing loses - make sure to pay me my bread” and be the only one to try and argue a clear call talking to their driver like “na you can’t just say that’s ok, people got alot of money on that” Dude in red a sore ass loser and should listen to his own advice and just pay up when rules are rules. It wasn’t if over the line beside or in front of - rerun, it was if over beside or in front - you lose. They can decide to rerun for whatever but that shootout win was no contest after that clear ass cross. I get no one like to lose but come correct or not at all. Too much of that contesting with the RM should have a mf banned from the races. Props to RM for keeping it fair, unbiased, and sticking with the few rules established.

They are treating the surface here over the few passes, building up nice rubber so I'd say the first part of the surface is better than the hoonigan airstrip. Helps for that insane launch you see.
So glad that red truck bought back in for 1 more race loved actually seeing it get rowdy. Also never saw a hellcat challenger I actually thought looked good but that blue one was sick
With enough shouting and peer pressure some people crumble. Maybe they were trying all that in the vain attempt to invalidate the race and get a re-run.
If I have been the race master I would have said OK we’re going to have a rerun BUT as far as the last race goes the Mustang won, so I’m paying him! If he wants to re-run you that’s on him. But the money is his Crybaby..

The Mustang's fast because it's GREEN and has a parachute... that apparently will not be used on the street before the line 🤘... and that little V6 causes quite a ruckus in the box 🙉🌪💥💨
Damnnn man. I felt like the grey, blue and green mustang all had that GTR cross or not. They all just spun up top. On all their clean runs they were freakin moving.

Is there better grip in the right but more room in the left lane making it equally fair???? Anyone know???

@@710bren even if that's true, i don't think any mclaren i've ever seen, no matter how modded, can hook up like these cars do out of the hole. those are usually good for tx2k and stuff like that... roll racing.
Mclaren is a track car. Aside from a GTR all of those cars would be lapped. Not taking anything away from those cars tho, they are straight up drag missles.
And also I love foxbodys and being Irish we don't see any on the roads over here!!! But it was deadly to see so much more types of beast than just majority foxbodys!!!! God i would give anything to be over in the U.S for one of the cashdays it's a goal and a dream for me and my fiance to go to!!! Even the Stockholm Open or Valhalla Cup in Sweden which is closer to me than across the Atlantic and that's some of the most epic street racing in the world!!!! One can dream

Really. I’m 63 and had my share of street cars. My favorite was my 800 hp 1972 Lincoln town coupe. As a street racer I would eat these cars alive. Right now it’s 2024 and I’m building 2000plus hp old school sleeper. This going to be my last hoorah in life. What’s funny is that people still ask about my Lincoln years later. A Legend
