Such a shame, our Aussie humor has gone to the shit. Back in the days it was a lot better, gotta say though this is probably one of my favorite Aussie comedy shows.
That's the stuff. The mid 80s to the mid 90s was a golden age for Australian sketch comedy. With shows like D-generation, Fast Forward, The Late Show, Comedy Company and Full Frontal. The best we've had since then was the Chaser.
This show like all the other Aussie comedies was just great but could never survive these days due to all the goodie goodies who seem to dictate what one can and cannot say
They were a satire of a Melbourne gang from the 70s & 80s, the sharpies. Crew cut hair with the beginnings of a mullets at the back. Skin tight jeans & jumpers, a packet of fags on you left shoulder, and moccasins.
Sitting here in London. Glasgow born and Australian from aged 9 till ....I still am even though I came back to the UK at age 58. Yep I’m crazy. I adored this at the time and all the years that have passed hasn’t changed my opinion. It’s still bloody beaut. Sadly in 2021 too many snowflakes would find fault with it. Instead of simply enjoying the comedy which was never meant to offend anyone, they now need safe spaces to protect their hurt feelings or the great comeback is IT’S RACIST. Apologies for the rant. Young ones of today are too busy trying to be fake! Behaving as dictated by social media and commercialism from the U.S. living an identity crisis, while their IQs keep plummet ling with their addiction to internet crap and their little devices! Spoilt and useless.
Thank You for posting this, this was such a funny show. Gotta luv Michelle and Ferret. the funny part is a grew up in the 70's in Melbourne when the sharpies were in and its just what they looked like...I remember it well.
You must have watched a different show? I guess you didn't see any episodes with: Jane Turner, Gina Riley, Marg Downey, Geoff Brooks, Glenn Robbins, Steve Vizard, Peter Moon, Gerry Connolly & Michael Veitch. Even more high end comedians joined the show as it evolved, eg. Eric Bana, Jimeoin. Magda was funny sure but by far the funniest? I think not.
How she loses it right there at 5:09 is just gorgeous. They must have done quite a few takes and holding it together would have been just so damn hard.
Holy crap, i am in fits all over again, i loved this and all the other shows back then, so much, nowdays with all the Political Correct BULLSHIT we will never see the old comic shows again. The world has gone to crap so much ...

Back in the days when people could laugh at jokes in context, before the touchy-hurty-feely generations came along and made it a fashion to be offended by everything.
These two old boilers remind me of some of the mothers of the older kids in my street in the 1960s. They drank Diet Ale and smoked Cool menthol ciggies and watched Days of Our Lives, etc on tv.
Magda? In the clip at 0:53 sounds a bit like Bea Smith from Prisoner! Kinda cool, tbh, especially with that Prisoner parody, Magda did with Jane and Gina!
You must consider these clips to be particularly funny, I mean: this video is far too short to capture all of FF's funniest moments. :) Of course it is a matter of opinion, but still, surely you consider other material funny enough to include here.
@valfierium Hmmm I'll admit skitHOUSE had it's moments, the australian fast bowler sketches were always good and there was some bird on there Fiona something or other who was good value but apart from that it was no match for fast forward or full frontal or the chaser. This is from a guy who watched both seasons of skitHOUSE hoping it would get progressively better like comedy inc did.
