FAST HEALTHY HAIR GROWTH WITH VICKS VAPOR RUB TO STIMULATE GROWTH DEMO + REVIEW 

Hey everyone! Today I have a different kind of video for you guys. I got the idea to do this video from sonyabeonit and the link to her video is in the description. This video was done as an experiment and all in fun. Some people enjoy trying different hacks to get their hair to grow while others may not. If you are skeptical of these kinds of videos then simply do not watch or leave a comment. I enjoyed using the vicks more so to cleanse my scalp and get it really clean than for growth. If I do see any spectacular results in about 6 months of use I will share it.

It does work. My mother does it after her hair fell out from cancer and it has grown a lot in 2 months. By the way, she is cancer free❤

My grandmother use to do this every week. She had long thick hair. She was Native American. I'm pushing 50 now. Its nothing new but thanks for reminding me and thinking about my grandmother.

My mom had bald spots and thin edges she started using vicks on her itchy scalp and her bald spots filled in. Im a believer!

I wear protective styles and I apply about a teaspoon amount of vicks with a couple drops of tea tree oil to my scalp under quickweaves after i shampoo and deep condition with dr miracle. I repeat the process every 2 weeks i dont wish to keep it in longer than that because i do exercies often. My hair is growing and thickening so just thought id share!

Tip you always buy Vicks vapor rub out of season. I live in a Michigan & Vicks is under $4 in summer time for large size. Price jumps up to about $8 as soon as fall comes in because people use vicks more during the fall, winter seasons for colds, flus & chest congestion. Stock up in summer months, hope this helps.😀

Eucalyptus oil is in Vicks so that is what is making the hair grow.

I usually don't leave comments but I have to say I've been doing this for 1 month and I saw 4 1/2 inches of new growth since I added Vicks Vapor rub to my wash regimen. Thanks for the video.

"Black mums use it for everything" 😂🙈 i plead guilty. I grease all my babies with it after bath especially around this time of the year. I also keep one by my bedside to help me breathe at night 😁

Hey. I find mixing the vaporub with 1/3 olive oil. Easier to wash out and put on ur scalp :)

This is a blessing!!! I can honestly say since I got my big chop last month ive been wanting to grow out my healthy 4c hair. I've never thought aboit using Vicks for anything besides pain or body but if has one of the best uses and that's hair growth 🙌🏾🙌🏾

I've heard of people eating Vicks before a friend of mine told me that her mother used to make her eat it when she would have trouble with her asthma and she still alive. it has a lot of medicinal properties some people don't know that.

My Grandmomma and momma used *Blue Magic or Sulfur 8* hair grease on their hair as well as me and my siblings. It used to come in an cardboard type material and a tin top. It came in 2 colors green and blue and right to this day I use the same old Blue Magic or Sulfur 8 hair grease and my hair is doing just fine. Sulfur 8 has since change because it's not as strong as it used to be. Back in the day if your hair was greased with Sulfur 8 everybody knew it because the scent was so strong but your scalp felt so damn good.

the menthol and ucalylptus brings the blood to your scalp i defo gonna give this a go ive got nothing to lose but getting longer hair !!!!!!

I use 2 concoctions and love it. Remember if you dont want to use vicks, just use the active ingredients for the hair (camphor, eucalyptus, pine oil, menthol). BTW miconazole gave me faster growth as well.

The vapor rub has eucalyptus oil in it which stimulates the scalp. I use that oil and it works great. Very strong smell though.

Aquaphor is also great for dried scalp and quick healing. I will try the vapor rub, peppermint usually works well.

I can attest to this, for the people who think it wont work. The video shes referencing is from sonyabeonit's channel and lately she's been doing her daughters hair. Throughout the months, you can visibly see her daughters hair growth and I seen it in mine as well very quickly and my scalp wasn't as dry.

I have locs so I can't use Vicks due to build up from the petroleum. But I agree that using essential oils with stimulating properties like eucalyptus, peppermint, Rose Mary, etc is very useful for hair growth. I add it to my shampoo & olive oil.

I use Eucalyptus, Cedarwood and Lavendar essential oil for my hair in my own oil mix. Eucalyptus is one of the main ingredients in Vicks so it's not too crazy

My mom use to feed it to us when we had a cold, it works. I put it in my nose at night, it smooth breathing. I use it on my aching knees. It stimulates everything . You are cute and professional. Keep up the good work...

If you like vicks you might want to use camphor or menthol essential oil and mix with evoo or shea butter. That way you get the main organic ingredients without the added chemicals.

O appreciate this tutorial lady im going to uss it on my edges i have course hair and i am tender headed. Ive had 2 strokes and im.paralyzed on the left side so i just cut it down and im starting all over, vicks is good for many other things such ad athketes foot, fungus on toe n finger nails sinus headaches and much more. I am a black mother who had 3 children and when they were trying to get sick i would say go get that vick take your shirt off and let me rub you down and it alwsys worked, didnt like drugging my children up. when I wore cornrows and braids with gold beads during the late 70's-early 80's, the lady who did my hair back then actually told me about using either Vick's Vapo Rub or Sea Breeze facial toner on the scalp for itching, dryness and cleanliness of scalp.

I tried the Vicks Vapor rub on my scalp before washing it and it really felt refreshing. I used a tea tree peppermint shampoo by Fantasia. Afterwards, I used a hair mask by Cantu Natural hair, then conditioned with ORS replenishing conditioner along with a plastic cap overnight. Hair is so shiny, silky feeling and moisturized.

fyi- vicks is great for your feet

I rub it on my back and knees to relief the aches, pains and dry scalps. Its cheaper from the Dollar Tree, has the same ingredients. Your baby girl is very cute, embrace your hair without negativity remarks. Blessings

I wrap my head with saran wrap with the vicks on and leave it on for an hour to 30 minutes if I'm busy it really seems to be effective your hair is so thich and pretty by the way

I just washed it out and it felt so soft with minimum breakage. I used the she's moisture Jamaican black castor which has peppermint, shea butter and Apple cider vinegar

I have seen both her and the Sonya lady's video.. to each their own do what you feel works.. I will stick with tea tree,peppermint, and rosemary oils for scalp stimulation.. but good luck with this method

another thing to pay attention to when dealing with and product/chemical you put in your hair is it's ph balance. The ph balance of chemicals can cause breakage or scalp irritation if it is too acidic. Also too much alkaline in products will cause the same result. It's important to neutralize chemicals to stop their effect. Just food for thought

hum... I'm going to try this. I've used Dr. tichner mixed with witch hazel to cleanse my scalp many times but this application of the VVR might work just as good. BTW, the interaction with the baby was too adorable. thanks for posting.
