Riding a bike quickly is by far the most involving thing you can do on a track. The fluidity of weight transition using your body and the way in which is makes you feel at one with a machine is unlike anything else. Driving fast cars is fun but once you've ridden a bike nothing will compare to it ever again.
Same reason watching car racing to me is not nearly as interesting. Auto drivers need to LIMIT their movement in the car; cycle pilots MUST use their entire bodies.
The feeling you get when you have a bike at high lean angle with the suspension and tires all talking to you. Feeling the G's and the tire biting the track. Nothing comes close.
@@DT-dp1so It is obvious that to compare cars and motorbikes on track they should ride on the edge, so it don't depends on how fast you go. In slow turns car has advantage because of more grip, but in fast corners morocycles are faster as a reason of weight/kW ratio. And it is much more harder to riding a motorcycle as a result of at least two times lover grip than a car, and way more dangerous beacause of lack of any protection.
So after watching this video I have wonder about some of the other videos I've seen on here that seem to only show slower riders. Is this more the norm on the ring. Also those boys were hauling ass!! I was happy to see some real fast guys on the ring. I sure would enjoy a day of laps there....if I won the lottery of course lol
Personally, I don’t like to see bikes & cars on the same track. Car drivers don’t give a shit about bikers . They are protected by a big metal box & bike riders are very vulnerable. 👍👍
