I get masculine men like to hit top speed. But for me, personally, i would much rather just cruise around at 30mph or less in a smooth lake with booze and girls.
It sounds like it's so Ruff out there these Guys are trying to figure out what to say about this Boat...Then when it Slows down the first thing the guy in back points out is the 2 TRASH CANS in the Back.... Terrible Video by these Guys
Great to see another video from you. I miss your boating videos plus your build videos..... I hope life is treating you right.... Looking forward to seeing new content....
One of the first Center Consoles with a proper seating position while driving. Most of them you need to stand. They need to make telescoping steering wheels.
That's one thirsty boat you have there. If the summary board is correct, the boat is averaging 1.33 mpg. At the top speed it probably burns 70-100 gph. But relative to the cost of the boat and those two outboards, it's chump change.
Totally respect what your doing but youve been spoiled riding in a Donzi your family did right letting you start on a race boat home built racer checkmate to appreciate money the reality is hydrodynamics and the company that can to it best….
I thought this would be more about the performance of the new V-10s. Seemed more like a video on the boat. All's I got was how fast if can go. I would have liked to see how many RPMs vs the speed compared, as well as the fuel consumption and at what RPM that would be. I could care less that it goes 80 MPH. On a trip to the Bahamas you almost NEVER will be able to run those kind of speeds. And just me, I would be looking for a fishing boat, and this boat is more a family style boat. Very hard to fish out of if you're any kind of serious about fishing. I'm sure it's a nice boat, but just not for me. I mainly wanted to see how those new motors performed, but I didn't learn much here.
Mercury racing has always been the top of the line, but I can plainly see. I would have to be part of the biden family to able to afford it...I can remember way back when a good rebuilt inline 6cy 150 hp would cost $2500. I bet the prop cost more than that now.
Actually this boat is really slow because there are other boats running these same motors , the 400Rs and they are getting to over 100 mph easily So I think this center console only getting 80 with this set up something is not right with your design Yes 80 mph is fast But if im in eating that kind of money I would much more want the best I can get 105 mph is bad ass And that's what they are capable of Im thinking your hill is fine Mabey the difference is the soft top causes a lot of drag on this boat Mabey there are some unnecessary things on this boat that makes it slower Not sure The boat with 100 mph was a cuddy which is fine Mabey the center console adds drag because of the size or weight All I know is these motors are capable of giving a boat much higher speeds than this one That would bother me Or mabey twin 600s or triple 400s would increase the speed to 100 mph I do know with those big motors I would want to be the fastest boat , at least 100 mph Not 80
