Yep there's a ton of evidence that world class sprinters can relatively consistently react under 0.1. And that rule was based off less than 10 sub elite Finnish sprinters i believe. Frankly if you go after the gun and you were silly enough to "guess" it then best of luck. The world's best are not going to attempt to guess a gun with the zero false start rule in place.

Go on, present the evidence. Ever been to a track meet, ever watched a track meet? If professional sprinters can react under 0,1s so consistently. Then why doesn't half of the field always react under 0,1s, especially in the finals? There is no place for luck in athletics. You've got to minimise it as best as you can. And yes, they would guess.

yeah this is one of the T&F rules that needs revised. Too many people are getting wrongfully DQ'd from their reaction time.

They should update those ridiculous reaction time rule bruh. We should create a New Generation Speint without reaction time rule. Just because most human cant react below 100 miliseconds doesnt meant it should be illegal. If someone can run under 9 seconds should in be illegal? Human are different. New Generation Sprint as a content will be good 😮

I thought about this before and it would be cool to make a sepperate event where sprinters could cross a laser to start and finish in a time trial format. This would also show us the fastest runner in the world because starting to run and hitting a peak from a running start are different.
