That literally happend to my car, but it was sitting in my driveway lol I guess the heat from the sun just made it let go. He's in Florida so its probably a bit hotter there in the summer, that along with the g force probably just couldn't hold on any longer 🤷🏽‍♂️

If going fast in a straight line is all you care about, can't beat (insert 80's car here) with an LS. For under 50 grand you can have a 7 second car easily. Builds like this are very cool yes, but I'm sure your mouth would hit the floor if you knew how much money goes into something like this. I was surpised to hear it's still the iron block so don't expect it to last many runs but it's still far from cheap.

@@WilliamStewart1 You make a great many assumptions. But as someone with a 9002hp Evo along with a UGR Stage 3 Gallardo Superleggra and E9X supercharged M3 I get build costs. Compared to the R33 GTR build and R8 cost/build its a relative bargain. Context means everything

@@gruppegee I'm just pointing out costs and you saying the evo is hard to beat in the bang/buck ratio. At the end of the day you're still limited with the little 4 cylinder so you'll always be a step behind or hadning over twice the dollars to make the same power compared to an LS, not to mention you're limited by AWD unless you're street running. You're nearly 50 grand alone in a evo to break the 1000whp no? Cool yes but if all you care about is going fast down a strip it would appear counter intuitive to me. Not hating on any platform or anything but you mentioned bang for your buck.

@@WilliamStewart1 Listen you are not only incorrect but clearly just LS biased... To build a 1K who LS or LT motor properly will cost you a bare minimum 30 to 40. Thats a LME 416, CNC'd heads, custom cam, Procharger F1A-94 or Turbos, billet intake, headers, exhaust, fuel system and ancillary bits. Been there done that. And with a DI LT motor you will need a stand alone to run, a second set of injectors with that billet intake and a fuel line upgrade. Been there done that as well with a 1000whp LT1 Camaro and a LS7 Z06 making 1200whp. I dont mind again that you think the LS is the tits, but you can make that power in an EVO. Keep spool and maintain handling, braking and be very usable. I dont mind a fan boy but dammit at least have a clue or know who you are speaking to when you make ridiculous statements like AWD is a hinderance. More traction in corners, digs, rolls and normal use is bad how???

@@Alex_EVii it’s been over a year since I worked at FP. Had brain surgery and injury from severe motorcycle accident. All a can say is if you get hit by cars on motorcycles it can be extremely expansive. Now my right side of body is full of titanium. I technically died for a short time and Baylor Hospital saved my life. Heart wasn’t beating and I wasn’t breathing when the ambulance picked me up. Machines get me alive for 54 days.
