I was water fasting drinking 1gallon a day when I tell you that was the best menstrual I ever had I feel every woman should have 1 gallon on your menstrual it’s the best

@@clevlogs2660 yes barely any bleeding I don’t get cramps during my menstrual but my bleeding is kind of heavy I didn’t experience that and I also didn’t have an headache no symptoms

@@Tee-hy9uk oh wow… that’s great .. but would it be normal? Ik she did say u can fast on your period 🧐 but that’s awesome. I’m going to do that when my period starts! How much weight did u loose? I just finished a 3 day water fast

@@clevlogs2660 congrats to you I lost 30 pounds I would recommend watermelon if it gets hard for you to do while on your period you still will loose the weight

Thank you Dr Mindy before getting my cycle I hated that whole period but now,I look forward to my cycle as yes I can fast 16,20,24 36 etc.I freakin love it.😊

I started 24 hour fast on day 1 of my cycle but it did not feel good as same I did last month on day 8 I think . We need to listen to our bodies. And yes, the diet which you recommend for certain days for a women cycle it works amazingly. I have actually stopped all kind of junk foods I use to munch on before. Thank you Dr. Mindy, you are an angel. Lots of love ❤

Agreed. I have learned that from day 1 to day 7, I can reach 12:12 fasting. Not maximum

Thank you Dr. Mindy. Im still adjusting to fasting around my cycle but I do feel a difference when progesterone is making her presence because I do get hungrier and crave carbs. I've seen subtle improvements in my gut health, weightloss & less bloating since eating nature's carbs and sauerkraut (I don't like it but I eat it cos you said😂) I feel like I'm finally supporting my hormones and my body is responding and working in harmony because of fasting according to my cycle. THANK YOU VERY MUCH for this valuable information ❤

Why everyone just keeps referring to 28 to 30 days cycle.. This is not normal for most of us.. Its very confusing! What to make out of something like this? People who are in grey area are always doomed. Normal length(28 to 30 ) periods happen to very small percentage of menstruating women. For rest of us it is totally different.

Hi Anjal, with fertility awareness charting (not on hormonal birth control), I am able to know exactly where I am at in my cycle without going by day number. So, to translate - Dr. Mindy's Day 1 to 10 refer to pre-fertile part of cycle. Then Days 11 to 15 is the fertile window (which I know I have hit due to the presence of fertile cervical mucus). Days 16 to 19 is the first few days of the luteal phase (luteal phase starts after ovulation, which you can isolate with ovulation strips and basal body temperature readings). Days 20 onwards is the rest of the luteal phase (the luteal phase is a set number of days each cycle, between 10 to 16 days total; to find out how long your luteal phase is, you need to count how many days your basal body temperatures stay in a high range). It definitely takes time to learn fertility charting, but it is awesome knowing exactly what is going on in the body.

Huge fan of Dr. Mindy and FLAG. The one thing I haven't been able to figure out, is how to curtail this monthly fasting protocol to a 24 day cycle.

Thank you for this beautiful breakdown Dr Mindi. I definitely misunderstood the guidelines in the book and fast longer during my menstrual and ovulation cycle and afterwards started fasting shorter hours. I’m also happy to hear what types of food to focus on and what natures carbs really entails. Thank you. I’m excited for the sequel.

If you start a proper keto diet, you will start to have regular periods, and go from there.

Thank you so much. It’s crazy everything I’ve learned this past few days. I wanted to ask. I have a 32 day menstrual cycle. I saw different videos that say stop fasting at day 19 and another one at day 21. Which would be the best day to stop fasting and nurture progesterone for a 32 day cycle? Thank you so much again!

I’m currently doing the fasting cycle from Dr Mindy’s book and my period came 1 week earlier and is longer than usual. Is this normal? What If you're cycles are irregular would you just have to try and read your body to see where you are in the cycle ? 😫 my cycle is like 40 days cause its so irregular

I was hoping that she would touch on that… it’s most of the same information… I don’t believe she would recommend a 40-day fast for women… I think it should be fine if you don’t do it too often, like once a year and then stick to the normal not more than 10-day fast

From day 20 on, can I do a 15 hr fast? I’ve been fasting for so long that no fasting or even a 13hrs during these days can be challenging for me…

Fasting causes heavy ovulation bleeding for me. I never see anyone talk about that. I still get my cycle, but with more pms. When I stop, ovulation bleeding and heavy pms stop. I tried this a few times. So I sadly stop ADF today. I've seen great results with IF, OMAD and ADF before but it makes me bleed so much. I'm on Day 16 and started bleeding on Day 14. Thought it was spotting (I never spot) but nope, it's like a period. All this doesn't happen when I'm not fasting. Just wish there was an explanation for this.

Have you tried myo inositol and d chiro? It has made my cycle regular and gotten rid of pms symptoms. My periods are total surprises to me now.

I don’t know if you will see this but I have always had TERRIBLE periods growing up. They have also always been very irregular. I can start my period anywhere from 28 days to 32 which makes tracking it such an ordeal. Do you have any clients like me with irregular period cycles?

I just did a 24 hour fast on day 18 of my cycle. I have to listen to this again to make sure that that is OK. My fasting window has been shorter this past week due to my work schedule and sleep schedule so I’ve been doing 14 and hour daily for the past week When I’m used to doing 16 to 20 hour daily fast. I just felt like I needed to do a 24 hour fast. I’m trying to regulate my period again since last month that started every two weeks when I did a 24 or 36 hour fast.

I really want to fast intuïtively.. Is it possible to learn the feeling of ovulation and the 4th fase and than quit the longer fasts? So without counting the days; just listening to your body. Or is that not safe or clever to do? Thankyou Mindy!

J'adore ! Thank you for these informations. What if Ive just got back my menstrual cycle and it's really irregular (45 days). How do I spot progesterone Lady and shorten my fast. According to clue it's day 22 : day 2 of ovulation ! Thank you for your feedback. Cheers from Marseille, 🙏🙋‍♀️

My gyno has me on an estrogen patch which I change twice a week and v-progesterone pearl every night of the month. My progesterone is constant. Even with this, I am still having some cycles. Would this still apply to me?
