I custom made offset mounts out of angle iron and welded the tabs to the frame. I had the engine mounted to the tabs and the chain fed through so i could line it up to tack the tabs in place. Then de mount the engine and finish the weld and clean up.
i welded a washer to the hub, drilled holes in it to match the sprocket, then tapped the holes and bolted it on. then i put lock nuts on the back side.
Meh, lots of bikes dont have front brakes. It has a coaster brake. This bike was build on a budget. I didnt have any extra disc brakes laying around. The engine on this one kinda sucked...
@@pitapitabread coaster brakes are the most reliable type of brakes for motorized bikes....... Most people build on bikes with coaster brakes because they dont fail like youre describeing.
Cool bike. I’m sure your local law enforcement are regulars on your channel. You might not want to strap an engine on a bicycle and then go blowing through stop signs and such. If a bicycle is on the roadway most traffic laws apply?? No I am not a cop or a boot licker. Lol
I dont get how that would happen? They arnt really accessable. The muffler, engine, or pedals would hit you before the motor mount. The motor mounts are rounded off angle iron.
Once I started upgrading it was fast and durable I now I’m trying to make another one the one have have now hits like 60 i just upgraded the carburetor, changed the fuel lines, used premium Gas and oil And got an new piston and head for the motor
Im literally making the same exact thing i get the motor in a few days and the bike a little later both of which i got with money from selling things i no longer have use for
