I rode the Auzb Fat trike for 10.000 km across Europe and Africa. And a Auzb tricon 20" for 30.000 km across Europe and Asia. No motor on both. I will soon start a new long trip across Europe and Asia on a Azub Fat again.
I have been talking to a few lady friends about them getting trikes. The size intimidates a couple of them, they worry about the weight being too much for them, so it is good to see somebody like Summer riding in a video. Two of them are similar builds to her. It is easy to see she handles one well. Could you do a video perhaps talking about that? Explaining how easy they are to ride for lighter people.
Fred FredEx Ross great point. I’m so on board with these but I’m not that strong and have wondered about handling the bike weight. They look so fun! I want the electric version.
When you do a custom color on the fat tad, do you guys also paint the inserts in the center of the wheels to match or do they stay the factory red? Love the vids! Thanks for all the info on sooooo many different trikes!
I would like to see a build where you install 6 batteries as this is one of your options .... and also what frame would you use or platform frame you would use for this build
Good morning, sir, I'm French and I live in France, I've been watching your videos which are great for several weeks, too bad they don't have a shop like yours in France. My only concern is the language barrier. Best regards,
Good morning ma’am, I’m Californian and I live in California, I’ve been watching your videos which are great for several months, too bad they don’t have a shop like yours in California. My only concern is the corona virus, as it has apparently quarantined tassels and Lewis music videos. Best regards,
The Lewis music videos will be back soon. Considering doing a documentary with Lewis as the Triker King. Will keep you posted on the status of the tassels.
This seems like such a great shop, however being as big as it is, and moving as much stock as it does, I'm a little surprised there's no veteran's discount.
Peter Bergonzi I Agree. Maybe the owner is a Democrat? Most democrats and or liberals don’t really appreciate veterans. It’s sorta like some people don’t like cops or attorney’s, or guns... unless they really...REALLY need one. I peace time, the towns close to military bases will have yard signs “Dogs and Soldiers Keep off the grass”. In war time the signs disappear and it’s “can I buy you a drink or pay for your diner soldier? Thank you for your service”. My brother is a commercial appraiser. He just did an appraisal for the sale of bike business that specializes in elect bikes/trikes/ Quads. I read the whole 75 page appraisal. I was shocked at what the difference was in the factory I wholesale price the bike shop owner paid and the retail price he sold them for.... WAY more mark up (profit) than a car dealer or boat dealer gets. Anywhere from 40 to 60% ! Trike assessory’s even more (she said “we Love assessory’s”). Amazing... we now have 35 million people out of work in the USA and we have not hit bottom yet. The news said it’s 35% now unemployed in the US. And Utah says “please send us email’s, we’re so busy we can’ answer the phone” The advertised price for an elect quad starts a $6,000. Most are over 8K! You can buy a super deluxe new golf cart that seats four people and does 25+ mph for $7,000. You can buy a damn nice late model used car for 10k. Many Utah Trike’s and quads sell for over 10k. Many in another 6 months this picture will change and cash money at 30/50% will look pretty good to these trike/quad dealers? Time will tell... What goes around most likely will come around, given enough time. 10% Off to a veteran? They will wish they could get that vet sale back to buy then..... Please
I have had years of back trouble and surgeries. I found my recumbent road trike to be more comfortable to sit in than any chair our couch in our home. Pedaling was absolutely no problem.
Hello. I am looking for Trike to use on different terrain, can do adaptation for my needs. I might also need Electric assist to be install in the Trek to help on my leg. I am QUAD amputee and using my Legs ands Hands Prosthetic for driving,. Do you have store location in California or Arizona? The Semper Fund is helping me for any purchase. Is there a Catalog that I can see to check all the Recumbent. I am really like this FAT TAD .
Lighter aluminum frame, easier to adjust with quick release levers, more comfortable seat, higher quality components (drivetrain, headsets, levers, etc). Comes stock with wrist rests, flag, and a mirror. No suspension though.
@@UtahTrikesOnline Ok, so it sounds like the difference between an entry level vehicle and one with a bit of a nicer trim package. Could probably run those big tires at a lower PSI to account for the lack of suspension. I think I've made my mind up. Been going back and forth between the fat tad and the V3 for a couple of weeks but if your gonna drop dollars on something, you may as well drop enough to get the nice version of it.
