There one thing about russian players they are like Constrictor Boas if You do Nothing they strangle You Till You die but if You attack Them from every where You Confuse them and they just react

A hard fight. Well played by both. Filoppov played well above his rating! At 19:09 white’s g3 nearly lost the advantage! Black could have played Bxg3 with even chances. After Bb8 though the exchanges gave white a winning advantage (the passed d pawn against black’s doubled pawns on the b file). An interesting game - whites weak a pawn and suspicious knight on b5 made it dufficult.
