@@Krescentwolf I mean, at the end of the day, the guy who was teaching princesses and playing in the Austrian/Holy Roman court was Salieri. So I'd say they were on equal footing
@@extrmegames004 tbh Mozart Is for sure One of the most famous classical musicians but he's far from being the best.he Is probably the most important in the classical period but Beethoven not only changed every composer that came After him ,his works were also usually much harder than what came before him. I don't play f/go and i have absolutely no idea on how a musician can fight against other servants but if It works for Salieri and Mozart It should definetely work even for Beethoven
@@evening_sw Fate's heavy on lore, so the distinction between in-game mechanics, and lore-based strength needs to be made. Generally, the non-combat type servants may have good abilities and fight in the actual game. However, lore-wise, nearly all the musicians, artists, writers, and other such servants are exceedingly weak. They usually make up for that weakness with their main skill (called a Noble Phantasm) that has some powerful effect. -- Shakespeare can, for example, make a powerful illusion over his opponents by invoking his status as a master storyteller. -- Mozart (and to a lesser extent, Salieri) inflict heavy confusion and emotion damage to their opponents via song. With Mozart's specifically invoking his final piece, Requiem in D minor. -- Salieri is a little more... complex, since his Noble Phantasm invokes the rumor that it was his fault Mozart (who is considered the greatest musical genius of his time) died. However, this very BGM comes from a scene in which Salieri confuses and powers down an ancient god-like monster by playing Dies Irae, while the main character and their servants fight it. So he can also do what Mozart does.
It’s hard to believe that fighting a mountain Tsar with a giant titan golem and having intense piano music in the background, was somehow the FIRST final battle of the Lostbelts
The 3* servants really outshone the highest starred ones in this lostbelt. Advicebron, Billy, and Salieri. Still loved Anastasia, but they got my heartstrings and respect.
@@justicar77 Patxi should be an unique Chaldea servant. Period. Not a pseudo-spirit, but a Heroic one on his one. I think he fits the paper very well to be one star. Not powerful in life, not different from the others in his world, but a yaga who fought again it's own to save a weaker, yet more beautiful world.
@@darius8214 I assume because she's still an actual deity, whereas Patxi never existed once his lostbelt disappears. Skadi we summon isn't the same Skadi from LB2, its the Skadi from proper history
Salieri, no this man is not Salieri, he is the grey man, a rumour made that humans believed to twist a simple composer into a murderous monster. He does not know love or compassion, and Motzart will always be his enemy. But his music, his raw anger, his howling determination, who knew a rumour could have this much substance. He may not be the Salieri but he is anger, anguish and truly a song that captures the souls of those who hear it. For Dies Irae is the day of wrath.
The man lost to rumors, will now show us all his cursed masterpiece, now ringing out through this frozen wasteland, for all to hear his wrath and pain.
This music, played with such hate and anger, that it weakened a mad, mutant, Thunder King on the level of a god, while he rides a Skyscraper-sized Mammoth fighting an Immortal Golem recreation of the First Man as you and your small group battle him from the tops of the buildings he has crushed beneath his heels. Definition of Awesome.
I've always had the headcanon that the golem wasnt really autonomous, instead it mimicked the exact actions of Fujimaru who's sitting on its shoulder. That's why we can control it freely, guarding our servants and throwing punches. And just the idea that we're physically throwing punches so a primordial titan punches the demonic 500 year old tsar is just pure awesome.
lets be honest, this is now CANON I don't care what others say! and if I was sat on a copy of Adam while fighting a russian tsar who is fused with a mammoth YOU Best believe my life has climaxed, nothing on this planet would peak that very moment.
yeah, Mozart cursed his friend because "it was now his turn to be Mozart", before Salieri starts playing, he even speaks with Mozart, whom encourages him to play with anger even if that is not "beautiful". During the end of the lb, mozart is in salieri's mind
One of my favorite moments in this lostbelt was Salieri angrily proclaiming that "I do not care how many musicians I have to copy, I will surpass you! Your God given talent is too finicky to be taught anyway!"
I mean... This has the whole story about Salieri becoming an inocent monster. It starts with anger, and hatred. With euphoria and stamina. With a big anger, Salieri wanting to kill everyone, cuz now he truly does. But there are some softer parts where maybe he doubts about what he is doing. And another parts are kinda sad, like saying he is regreting his anger and wrath. It can be supported by Dio Santissimo Misericordia de Mi (Lord in the Heavens, please have mercy of me) cuz he is actually regreting about what he is doing, but he is not regreting of what he has done. But then it starts again with all his anger, it wasn´t his fault, he had (and has) no fault and even then he suffered, then he must revenge. What a beautiful song...
Just finished *_Lostbelt No.1: The Grand Duchess of the Beast Nation - Anastasia_* today. Well I don't mind getting succumbed by the intense gacha hell in this damn game as long as I get to see top-tier quality stories like this.
I remember when I was playing Lostbelt 1 and reached this part of the story, I was like "I hope he continues playing this during the fight" so imagine my happiness when the music didn't stop playing after the loading screen.
This. Is. All. First. Lostbelt. Is. About. Music, Salieri and music once again. Forgive me, Anastasia, but in my eyes you'll never be able to keep up to Avenger of this level. Rarity, yeah, was it ever a thing?
Just got to this point in the story. All I need now I a good set up so I don't have to use Command Spells. GODDAMN, this MIGHT actually convince me to use my recently acquired 32 SQs just to try and get Salieri! (so much for my plan to save up for Gottemdamerung...) WHEN IS HE JOINING THE BANNER?! D,X
No way I'm giving up with this game just because of the intense gacha hell in it. Top-tier quality stories are what made me stick with this game and it's just getting better and better.
"Your merciful God- He destroyed His own beloved rather than let a mediocrity share in the smallest part of His glory. He killed Mozart. Then kept me alive to torture. I will speak for you, Father. I speak for all mediocrities in the World. I'm their champion. I'm their Patron Saint. Mediocrities everywhere. I absolve you. I absolve you. I absolve you all!"
Best way to start off a new story arc. Have a gigantic golem as the recreation of the first man, fight Ivan the Terrible but he’s a giant mammoth that can control lightning.
@@chelootzoa7815 This is the fight against Ivan. Salieri is just helping out by distracting the big bastard with this GOD-BLESSED symphony of rage and frustration! >8D
This was such an epic conclusion to the first lostbelt. And it's still just the beginning of an even more epic journey. FGO is the best mobile game ever. No cap.
You control a badass, gigantic golem whose abilities are not only amazing but also have ridiculosly low cooldowns, you have even your opponent's Servant fighting by your side, and then THIS...?!? *I don't think any battle in the entirety of Cosmos in the Lostbelt will ever achieve the same level of sheer, unadultered EPICNESS...*
@@MrDibara Uhh, Lostbelt 4? If you're an NA server player only then it's understandable. Anyways I pretty much agree with the others. FGO Cosmos in the Lostbelt is such a treat when it comes to quality story.
@@demigodz6944 Well, ok, I admit that as far as gameplay-wise goes, I'm an NA only guy. But, be honest with me: is there really ANY other battle that comes as close as this one in temrs of being unique and downright epic at the same time? I mean, *you control Golem Ketter Malkuth!* THAT WAS SO FUCKING AWESOME! Then, of course, _the greatness that was Salieri's Dies Irae._ 👌
Day of wrath and doom Impending, David's words with Sibyl's blending, Heaven and Earth in ashes ending. Oh what fear man's bosom rendeth, when from heaven the Judge descendeth, on whose sentence all dependeth. Wondrous sound the trumpet flingeth, through earth's sepulchers it ringeth, All before the Throne in bringeth. From the dust of earth returning: man for judgement must prepare him. Spare O God, in mercy spare him. Lord all-pitying, Jesus blest, Grant them thine eternal rest. Amen *Atziluth: Du-sollst――Dies irae!*
Just you wait until lostbelt 6 for NA. Unless you already played it on JP, it has such an amazing soundtrack. Especially the final boss. It embodies how they feel.
That sounds like a modification of the statement made about Edmond Dantes Those who are born of hate speak of love and those who are born of love speak of hate.
@@avesta4206 wasn't it said during the Collab event where we get Shiki at the end after we dealt with Shadow Edmond? I could have sworn it was in that event.
@@avesta4206 I'd have to check to be certain but, it feels right especially considering the two are the opposite ends of the statement. Edmond was born of love and Angra of hate
There is such hatred in the soundtrack. I listen to this when I'm forced to work on my day off. I played other mobile phone games in the past but I unstalled those games because they always want you to spend money to make progress which that takes the fun out of it. FGO is the only mobile phone game that I like to play. You don't fight other players, it's not pay to win, and the highest money price is $79.99 with tax of course. And the soundtracks in the game is surprisingly great which you don't usually get to hear those type of soundtracks in the phone game. Again, I love this game.
Salieri: you dont stop me mozart-kun, im the best *play this* Mozart: everynoire sucks compared to me *plays third movement of turkish march* Salieri: NO, IMPOSIBLE
it's always blowing my mind how fucking brilliant the story is, anyone even slightly interested in Fate must play this, worth every goddamn second of your time :D
The only thing I hate is that there is still no auto replay button on single videos yet, because no lie, but I listened to this during a 6 hour shift at work with the first half of that shift unloading the truck that showed up that day, then 2 hours after that until my roommate yelled at me. One hour and ten hour extended versions when? X3 In all seriousness, this just increase the already high excitement of wanting Salieri that I already have and I can't wait for Lostbelt to come to NA already just to get him! I have already Grailed a 3* to where their card is now gold and I sure as hell will do it to Salieri!
@@BigGrizzly006 unfortunately, on mobile, but I can do this on my laptop, which helps. I just ended up getting bluetooth earbuds with a play button to keep replaying this glorious piece of music!! X3
@@elissaazizi5316 I already do, but I sometimes have RU-vid playing in my headphones/earbuds while at work and just spam the back button once the song ends. X3 Also, Hi Elissa! This is the same Chloe from Facebook! :3
I swear i’m never going to forget the absolute standoff my jeanne and cu had against this beast unfortunately had to sacrifice cu near the end to guarantee jeannes np but oh my god
So, what are everyone’s favorite BGMs from FGO? My top ones are Into the Garden from Garden of Avalon, Bedivere’s OST aka Bedivere’s sin and Absolute Demonic Front: Mesopotamia (aka Tiamat’s theme).
Thats why in the game hes more about killing mozart, since thats the more well known story about salieri and is the more prevalent part of him as a servent, though he also mentions hes not really the real salieri either
@@gonzalorubencachi4556 It is not uncommon for Servants to be formed by the legends about them. In the story Salieri himself says that he didn't murder Mozart. He has the Innocent Monster skill which means that the servant was transformed by the people that believe him to be a monster.
@@gonzalorubencachi4556 again it’s due to being an innocent monster. The legacy the heroic spirit leaves is what shapes them when they’re summoned. Gilles is most known for the whole psycho murder thing and is why he is the way he is. Salieri states himself that he never killed Mozart but the thing he was most known for was that ridiculous rumor that he did which is why he’s an avenger and why he’s a servant in the first place because other than that he’s only really known as “Mozart’s friend” which does not qualify him as a servant so that rumor is the only reason he even exists as a servant.
So far i am loving the lost belts, but nothing yet has surpassed this moment. Avenger putting all his hate into his music as we battle for supremacy with Ivan.
