Excited doesn't even begin to describe, LB6 was probably my favorite experience in FGO, up there with summer 3 (servantFes). I know I wont feel the same as when I first played it in JP with the fan translation and stuff, but I love LB6 so much I can't help to be beyond excited.
“If only you didn’t see the future, if only you didn’t have responsibilities as a queen, if only you weren’t a fairy from paradise, perhaps three may have lived very peaceful lives together.”
Castoria had every right to give up. The fairies and the whole land were beyond salvation. The village that "raised" her treated her like a slave. Everyday she was tormented by a storm of insults and pleas for help that rang in her head. She didn't even choose to be born as an Avalon le fae; the role of a saviour only brought her endless anguish, loneliness, and misfortune. From the moment she realized her duty, Artoria knew that her life would be consumed by her destiny, and she would die without having the opportunity to live happily like a normal person. Despite all that, this insecure, inexperienced little fairy still chose to fight on. She acknowledged that she couldn't be like Morgan or the PHH Artoria, and nonetheless remained steadfast in her duty to the very end. Even after her death, "she" returned to aid Chaldea when they needed hope the most. Truly an admirable and precious girl. She need not be the strongest or reign supreme to accomplish great feats or win my respect and love. May my favourite character in all of Fate rest in Avalon.
Despite saying how much she hated Artoria Pendragon and how she devoted herself to being a king, Castoria still went through with saving the world. There’s always a little bit of kingship in every Artoria
spring memories was when she was supposed to face the happies moments of her life, and then came the horrible realization by the group that she didn't hold a single happy memory. Not once in her life she ever felt any happiness and it was just continuous suffering at the hands she was supposed to save well, maybe at the end of it all, she was able to hold to one single thing: that star that shines so bright, and the day she got to walk with the person she liked even if, for you, it was an ordinary day like any other
"I hated my life, I hated my destiny and I wanted nothing more than to give up. But you gave my life meaning Ritsuka, my time spent with you was truly a treasure. So I just wanted to say thank you, thank you for being my friend."
"The furthest island, the capital of sins, and the last dragon is in my heart. We will not yield to any destruction. Gather, guardians of the Round Table, Round of Avalon!"
"A foreign land, the end of time. Even so, the sword is in mine hand. The citadel's walls are robust and the cries of victory travel for ten thousand miles. Engrave a stern victory! Round of Avalon!"
Oh my god, i get it All this time i thought "another overhyped boring saber face" now i spit and curse my past self, this is peak character development, peak writing, my most beloved servant, thanks Nasu, for this masterpiece
@@spoopyb2069 i know, no doubt about it, these are being the longest 2 weeks i've ever had since Morgan banner, tho i wish i could erase some spoilers from my memory
i think in terms of character, tonelico, aka morgan, is better written tho. for artoria, the avalon part feels a little bit out of place, especially when muramasa decides to take her place to sacrifice. there's not good story-wise explanation why he'd do that for her except for the fact, of cos he's going to do that, because it is Fate and he is Shirou and she is Seibah. and then the more unexplanable part is... we ended up couldnt win against the fluffy spinning top, and she comes out of nowhere and sacrifice for us. that feels very forced, just a moment ago, merlin told us the sacred sword will be enough to deal with the threat and right away, he was proven wrong and muramasa died for nothing.
@lammatt not today spoiler monster, i just finished part 3 on jp and i disagree, both of them are written amazingly, i liked the avalon part, and i think nothing was meaningless, in order to create a divine weapon Castoria had to die but didn't thanks to Muramasa sacrifice, and why he shouldn't?, With the smith and Shirou mentality it's understandable, and we ended up with a base for the weapon but not enough to kill the fluffy thing, i guess if Artoria died and created a divine weapon, Muramasa could have used it to kill cernunnos but then in the last battle no one could have come to save us In Cernunnos battle Artoria couldn't use Morgan's 12 lances properly so she ended up damaging herself, then had to use that divine base and his body to charge the lances properly and damage cernunnos However lets see how much changes on the official translation because in some parts i got confused
@@lammatt bro for muramasa's actions later on, what kind of self-respecting swordsmith would pass the opportunity to craft one of the greatest swords in the world? he himself said that
Literally our own Fate route except better. Castoria is sleeping in Avalon and since it's the same PHH Avalon, Merlin also Fate route Artoria and Shirou are there I hope there will be Avalon themed event later on and we met Castoria again like Okita alter
@@ZuraJuraIn fgo timeline (PHH of “this” timeline), the first holy grail war is fuyuki. This is different from FSN timeline where shirou and artoria saber meets in the 5th war.
@@reniac3128 Yeah, that's what really hurts. Her true Heroic Spirit form is ascension 3, how all the faeries who believed in her likely imagined her; a brighter Morgan, but still strong and serious. The only consolation is that she is TECHNICALLY her... since she remembers that life she lived. That and the fact it gave an idea how the Heroic Spirit versions of heroes differ from the original figure.
Spoiler Alert (FGO Lostbelt 6) In one timeline, she was forced to wield the sword for her people, In the other, she had become the very sword she once wielded. Talking about tragic fate...
Avalon Le Fay, both Artoria and Morgan working together to save the world. Despite her death, Morgan left something behind for her successor to aid in the fight against the Calamity and fulfilled her destiny as Avalon Le Fay alongside Artoria.
We need at least 3 seasons of this Lostbelt. This was too good of a Lostbelt: the expectations and hopes destroyed, the emotional rollercoaster, the twists of the story.
@@abrahammesrajecorrea2349 thats why I said at least 3 seasons. I’d say maybe around 5 seasons: 24 episodes per season. We’d need the 1st episode to explain everything to the non-players, such as flashbacks of each Lostbelt, 5 mins each. So that give 25mins for that 1st episode plus a lot of starting anime have 40mins for the first episode. Then the second being Sion saying that the Collapse of that Lostbelt will happen soon. The one thing that they cannot do that is probably forbidden by the universe: make this Lostbelt into 3 movies... it’d ruin the Lostbelt for everyone. All the lore, fights, character interaction, Ritsuka’s guilt: flushed down the toilet, Heavens feel was the only decent one bwtween that and Camelot movies but there were important interactions of Illya and Shirou gone. Your damn right this is larger than Babylonia, this has new characters, in-depth lore and history of this Lostbelt, amazingly written, how it helped everyone, Ritsuka comes to terms that not everyone can be saved, their guilt and trauma, that its better for these history’s to be eliminated, Mash overcoming her mental block on Galahad’s powers, helping Artoria to accept herself(remember her one happiest memory?) to be happy with her decisions not disappointing others due to her being the Child of Prophecy and obtaining the Anti-Alien God weapon. Plus this was written by Nasu himself: it’s natural for it to be this good.
@@thebakalord All the lost belts are anime worthy. I would say a 5 movie series to cover EOR, 1 season each for1-4, a movie for ooku, 2 seasons for Olympus, a trilogy for Heian kyo, and 3 seasons for lb 6
@@abrahammesrajecorrea2349 also it was Oberons artist: Chica Umino, that cause this Lostbelt to become this amazing. Originally Nasu was going to have a good vs evil, fight Morgan and win, the usual Lostbelt, but when the artist was introduced to Nasu, he changed it, adding more elements to making this story beautiful
Every time I hear this theme during her NP I've always thought it was a sad and melancholic theme. Now that I've finished LB6 and have heard the full theme, it's really a warm and hopeful theme. Rest well Avalon le Fae.
Failed to get Artoria with 250 SQ and 30 tickets. I desperately farmed for the ticket+costume quests and rolled with this song playing in background. She came! Castoria came! Don't lose hope guys!
This is why I prefer to leave Caster Arturia at 1st or 2nd ascension. For story reasons, I can't leave her at 3rd. Plus, this theme makes me cry; add her third ascension and it's like Graveyard of the Fireflies for me. Also, obligatory: kill all fae (except the 5% of its population that were worth saving), Morgan did nothing wrong and protect Caster Arturia at all cost.
@@abrahammesrajecorrea2349 agreed Morgan did everything she could, it was obvious that she didn’t want to have Artoria to go through what she did, have a new start in the PHH, Morgan herself knew she would fall to Chaldeas. Plus I can imagine that Morgan Le Fae and Morgan were mortified by how the Alien God can just make simulations of the residents and when the tree is destroyed , so does the world, and decided to ensure a way those who should be saved can make a new start in the PHH. Plus both Morgan’s also loved Britain, at least for 2000 years Morgan Le Fae’s wish came true, she was the queen of Britain. I can count… 10 Fairies that should be saved: Artoria, Gareth, Habetrot, Knockneara, Coral, Baobhan Sith, Melusine, Mikey, Morgan, Barghest. If Melusine didn’t kill the Mirror Clan, then there would have been hope to save the Fairies of this Lost World…
From what I understand, the Final Bell ringed by Artoria Caster in the Place of Selection was to forge her into the Holy Sword of Star, Excalibur that would meant that Artoria would die and became an emotionless weapon meant to use against threats to the planet, as per convincing words from Merlin(trying to meddle in Artoria's life again huh!?), but Alter Ego Muramasa stepped in and offer himself to forge Excalibur in exchange for his life because he is a SMITH desired to proof himself that he can forge and refine the Holy Sword of Planet and this is his one and only chance as he sees. After the forging of Holy Sword completed, Muramasa disappeared and after that, Artoria gave the "Holy Sword" forge by Muramasa to Mash and stored it on her shield to be used against the Alien God since Chaldea did not obtain the Divine Construct Formula, Magecraft Spell Rhongomyniad from Morgan since Morgan is the only one who could fully utilized it. In fight against Cernunnos, Artoria Caster channeled the power stored from Morgan's throne to her heart and turned the Magecraft Rhongomyniad into Magecraft Excalibur. So, basically there's "two" Holy Swords here: one is forge from Muramasa's sacrifice and the other one is Artoria Caster herself. So this so called Artoria Avalon is basically the real Artoria Caster, or should I say Artoria Caster's "ORIGIN." Am I getting it right? Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
Not sure if you're wrong or not but Artoria Avalon is actually the sword build with the memories of Lb6's Castoria, the real Castoria is gone after fired Rhongomyniad, or I should say her own Excalibur.
@@carolineribeiro9063 I think this was the real genuine Merlin. The only difference is that Morgan locked Merlin away not Vivian. In the fight against Sefar, the Fae were completely lazy to make Excalibur, so Sefar destroyed all the world except for Avalon. And if Avalon can avoid being destroyed then it must have avoided the Bleaching of the Pan Human History, which allowed Merlin to be freed but Morgan trapped him once again but due to her death he was able to be free.
@@briantsukasa6459 Ritsuka - Artoria - Oberon is now way more popular for japanese fanartists than Muramasa ship. The only people who still ship Muramasa are probably English only who don't read the story. Muramasa is mirror of Ector, the old blacksmith.
@@briantsukasa6459 i still didn't found any art's with Ritsuka/Castoria, people still drawing Muramasa/Castoria, while in LB6 story they were like grandpa and grandchild
I'm so glad everyone is getting their castoria with this as their catalyst!! I also got my castoria by using this aswell 😊. If you didn't manage to get her, dw!! Next year, she will return in the second banner for LB 6!! Best of luck everyone!!
Myst's blessing + This OST waa the setup for me and my friends, and the 4 of us got her just fine with tickets. This truly was...The Moment a Star Was Born. (I also did the Carnotaurus mating dance! Which is very important!)
I got a copy of Castoria on my first 30 quartz roll and then I decided to do it again and got another copy. I could practically cry by how happy I am as I'm a F2P that's been active for five years. Bless you FGO.
the scene made me cry, first time I cried for an anime is back when saber said goodbye to shirou in last ep of fate stay night, I was 10 back then and 25 now, still make me emotional damn
R.I.P CasterToria. She made the ultimate sacrifice by fusing herself with the sword forged by Muramasa and no longer exists The CasterToria we summoned is nothing but an afterimage extracted from our memories
She went to Avalon though, after everything has been concluded. She says that two times. She still exists in Avalon. It's true that Artoria Avalon is Heroic Spirit records, who isn't original her (but this is same for most Servants, except Merlin). >After we defeat Cernunnos, we will part ways again. I will return to Avalon. >Once I exhaust my magical energy, so too will my purpose here end, and I will fall into a deep slumber. >Just like your King Arthur went to Avalon, so too will I return to Paradise after we cleanse the Great Calamity.
@@nithinkota2810 i thought her voice lines said something about not being able to see her phh self, even if theyre the lines coming from the afterimage summon version it could be the same for actual artoria caster

Olympus is a 7 Atlantis is a 9 This, this one right here is like at least a 15 for me. That's just how good the story is, it didn't feel like a FGO story at one point, truly magical
Given that Atlantis has some of the best storylines I've ever read (Olympus had the twins and Musashi going for it, but Atlantis and its memorable cast takes the cake), I'm really excited for LB6..
@@mariael2620 Yeah. Avalon le Fae part 3(the final one) was released on August 4th 2021. The full story TL is available on youtube if you are interested
Agree. This was something special that fully exploited Nasu's writing strengths in a way not even the original FSN could. The actors, the conflict, the resolution, everything is so exciting when it has to be, and doesn't pull its punches when it must. Hell, I'd argue this is better than Zero, if only for the ultimately optimistic message.
Artoria Avalon, and then Morgan Le Fay. If we combine both of those ladies' last name, then we will get the name of this British Lostbelt, which is Avalon Le Fay. How beautiful. I wonder what's the hidden meaning of this connection. Since most likely Kinoko Nasu did it on purpose.
Avalon le Fay probably mean "The Fairies of Avalon", and both Artoria LB6 and Morgan are fairies created by that world as counter-force, with morgan being "failed" and replaced by Artoria. At least that's what i read. I haven't played LB6 since i only play in NA
Irl avalon is the final resting place for all of Britain's heroes notably King Arthur and Francis Drake. Essentially a heaven/paradise. If we use it that way and how in nasuverse, avalon is on the reverse side of the world, its a paradise for mysteries as there are no humans. We can say its meant to mean "Paradise of the fairies" which is true considering humanity is the mystery and humans are factory produced
Yeah, and I can also imagine that we are living together in Avalon after all Lostbelts are over, just like Shirou and Saber at the end of Last Episode.
When she came in the 5th anniversary you could always hear her theme and probably didn't think to much of it. But when the full ost played at that "moment" in LB6 I was like oh shit.
I believe 2.6 is the fate route for fgo players. We met our version of artoria, we helped each other, and in the end she became the star we will never forget. Eventually we are gonna meet in Avalon again.
After failing to get her in the 5th anni, I once again used this as a catalyst. I am happy go say I finally got her. Thank you for uploading this track and as well as being the perfect catalyst
I can say this is one of NP animation that I will play normal, even in farming quests! Furthermore, I pledge myself that if I ever get her, I will grailed Castoria to level 100 and *BEYOND* !
Her life.. just.. on purpose of otherselves, not herselves... And she died because that purpose, not her own wish... Yeah, because she was a fairy.. but .. this story just so sad..why we can see again story as Iskandar or Gilgamesh?? Who sought their own fate, their own path, their own egoistic purpose.. sob 😭😭😭 see you again in Chaldea, Morgan, Castoria
@@willgm3500 let's get her together. I got Spichtar so I'm on a roll. Next targets are S.Orion and Castoria. Damn, all my targets are five stars... I'm I gonna be OK?
Arturia:"vamos a salvar el mundo" Castoria:"no todas las victorias son alegres, para ellas se necesitan sacrificios" Las dos formas de pensar de las dos son similares y opuestas a la vez
Ironic that in this scene, she's telling you how miserable her life has been and how much she hates being a chosen one, and also hates fairies and humans.
YEEEEEEEEEES!!!! After sooo many rolls and diferents catalysts, this song was the perfect catalyst for her!!!! I'm so happy, don't lose hope and good luck to everyone!!!
So... some sort of Endgame scene with ■■■■■■■ and Caster Arturia; as well as other characters and servants that were unique coming to help in the final fight against the Alien God? As long as I'm able to see my two best girls back and well, and them staying this time, I'm down for it.
I kinda like to imagine that along with the singularities servants who are willing to help again, even musashi herself returned despite being erased from the Throne of Heroes.
Just finished lb6 today and man each part kept on getting better than the last I already grailed castoria to 100 prior to lb6 and now I really want to lvl her to 110 Edit: Managed to get another copy of her and now she's lvl 120 in JP . She also came home in NA I will get the second copy next year for 120~
I just cleared JP Salomon the caster final boss fight with Double Castoria and my own Muramasa, saving the world has never been so fun. Goetia did not survive the looping although he did NP seal me for three turns.
