Probably most Berserkers are to behave either like a mad warrior (at best like Cu Alter, at worst like Lancelot), or to be obsessed with something too much (at best like Raikou, at worst like Spartacus), or literally become a beast that unable to talk (Heracles or Darius), or generally because history write them that way (like Asterios) Gogh in this case, has mentally unstable as an illness, plus being fused together with the soul of someone else. This usually don't do well to your mind

@@nod_and_smile593 Atalanta in this case is she made contact with something similar to a Madness Enchantment in her life. So just like Heracles, depends on which time line the Atalanta you summon is, she can be an Archer or a Berserker. To be honest, yes, Atalanta Alter still has a lot of sanity left. But just like how Cu was once summoned as a Caster despite him still saying he would like to use spear, Atalanta Alter is a Berserker just for the fact that the Grail chose it due to her having some kind of Madness in her.

If I recall, Van Gogh is inside the girl who is a Dryad or Nymph if I recall. The Old ones just wanna have Van Gogh but Van Gogh will do anything to kill himself so they put him on this girl (if I remember, she's madly in-love with Helios or Apollo and she will do anything to keep livin') which makes sense. Her Skills and NP has Curse demerits because of Van Gogh's insistance to commit not alive.

It was a Nymph actually. Her name was Clytie Apollo's lover, she became jealous because she was deprived of her love by Leucothea, the daughter of Orcamos, the King of Persia, and destroyed his lover by praise. However she tried to regain Apollo's love in vain. In the end she kept looking up at the sun and finally turned herself into a flower. Unlike most fusion servants Gogh is unique due to Clytie and Van Gogh being so similar in personality. Though it’s mostly Clytie we see with Van Gogh’s memory’s and another part is just imaginary numbers more less. Either way she is quite interesting and I just want to hug, comfort, and cook for her. (Mostly because I’m cooking all the time with no one around to enjoy it with).

Not only does this ascend the Foreigner themselves closer to the realm of a God or Goddess, it also allows their patron Outer God to exert more influence over their chosen vessel, potentially allowing them to force their chosen Foreigner Servant to help them manifest in our realm.

Think this is their first actual 50/50 fusion clythie is def the obsessive behaivior, gogh gives the fanboyism and the lines to other foreigners, and the part we can see both is their line for Fran and their likes are the same.

Yeah likely because she has gogh memories stuffed inside and likely overwritting her own. She has no line for any greek servant which is rare cause usually servants have at least one line to someone from their place of origin. One of the big hints it’s not just clythie like a lot of people are saying in the comments.

The truly sad part is that if you wished that, well then the easiest way to do that is logically to split the servant, right? The problem comes from two key things (ignoring the flower shaped space thing in the corner) First, that Clytie has NOTHING that makes her a Heroic Spirit, and is being held together as a Servant almost entirely because of Van Gogh's framework. The other problem is that Vincent Van Gogh WILL kill himself at the first opportunity to stop the Outer Gods from corrupting him into bolstering them with his NP.

Well, Boudica herself didn't do respectful things in her life either, I find funny that a lot of people thinks of her character as pure Queen who got hurt by Nero/Romans and etc, but in fact, she committed a lot of atrocities with innocent people too. At the end of the day, Boudica herself says that she would rather not show you (Gudao/Gudako) her Avenger form, I think this should have ended the fandom asking for an Avenger Boudica.

@@literallynothing6601 That won't stop people wanting her, because no matter what Boudica in-universe wants, that won't necessarily affect what the out-of-universe playerbase wants. An Avenger version of Boudica, full of hate and likely reacting to the Romans the same way that Penthesilia reacts to Achilles, would be a very interesting concept to explore for the players. Plus, her Rider version is rather underwhelming as a Servant and players want a "better and stronger" version of her, which Avenger Boudica likely would be since she's doing what she was most well known for, taking bloody vengeance against Rome for their crimes against the Iceni.

What many people want to see is an art upgrade and better writing. Her character was very poorly handled in the main story (the Ishtar event wasn't too great abt it either) even though she has a lot of potential to be something special imo.

20:42 lately, there are theories that supposed Van Gogh had a disorted perception due to something in his eyes or his mind, and his painting was a try to make people look what he looks. 20:45 He was also very perfectionist so he used to reused the canvas (also because he was very poor). In his Amsterdam museum, there are many paintings which are expose so you can see both sides of the canvas (he used to use both too because lack of money for materials).

@@HandleDeeezNutz The thing is, while Der Stellenacht can buff Foreigners (this is why the Outer Gods want him), Vincent's disdain towards the Outer Gods is too ingrained in him by the time he was recorded into the Throne of Heroes. In fact, if he were summoned, he won't hesitate to off himself to avoid eldritch powers getting on him (it is actually why Vulthoom forced him into Clytie's Spirit Origin to avoid that scenario) If DW and TM possibly give as the true Vincent Van Gogh, his skills and NP might have a large chance to have an anti- foreigner trait.

Old gods want Van Gogh. Van Gogh wants to die, so they fused him with Cyltie, a stalker (yandere?) nymph of Apollo’s lore. So together, we have a guy that desperately wants to die inside of a nymph that desperately wants to live with an old god (Vulthoom) just to sweeten this chaotic mix). Needless to say, it’s no surprise she’s got some screws loose up there. At least with this, there’s a lil bit of reasoning as opposed to just genderbend for the lulz.

She’s not exactly Van Gogh but also is Van Gogh because she has his memories and skills so she sees herself as Vincent Van Gogh. At the end of her event she decides to call herself Clytie Van Gogh, as to honor being both Van Gogh and Clytie.
