I like how the instant Gil senses Enkidu's presence, he calls forth Ea. Against anybody else, it would take a lot of back and forth to confirm their worthiness to just lay eyes on the treasure Ea is, but vs. Enkidu it is like step 0. as the basic show of respect. Nothing less than 100% is acceptable when they have to chance to meet after 4-5 Millenia.

I do not see him as a villain tbh. They made himself his worst enemy, as it takes much for him to take the fight seriously.But then - it has to. If he would be serious about it from the beginning, none would stand the chance. He's the ultimate powerhouse in Fate universe.

1:46 I've always thought to myself that Gilgamesh (including Enkidu anyway since they're equal) was always able to release his swords in hyper succession so much so that each gate in itself looks as if it's projecting beams of light. I swear Gilgamesh is my all time favorite character in all fiction.

no, they're different beings. Enki was a god, whos also called Ea, just like the name of Gil's treasured sword of creation. Enkidu was created by another god to rival Gilgamesh, but they became friends after Gil defeated him
