This actually has me thinking of Karia, after learning who his Servant is and what her deal is, constantly trying to get through to her through most of the war to do what he wants. (might even waste a command spell just to get her to stop trying to Surgery him without his consent.) His best option to get her on board with his mission, especially later in the war should he actually take out Tokiomi, but realize the Grail is well beyond his reach, is to connect his health to Sakura's well being. It'd likely come down to something like this... "Listen you Crazy Nurse, the only health that matters to me is the Health of that GIRL! Zoken CANNOT BE ALLOWED TO KEEP INFLICTING THAT HARM ON HER!! Every time he does, THAT HURTS, NO, IT KILLS ME!! You want me to be in good health? YOU WANT TO SAVE ME!?!? SAVE HER! EVEN IF IT KILLS ME!! SAVING SAKURA SAVES ME! GETTING HER BACK TO HER MOTHER SAVES ME! After that, the combat Nurse will vanish, Sakura being clutch by her now VERY TRAUMATIZED mother, bringing her back to the Tosaka mansion to hide while making plans to go to ground and hide from Zoken, thinking he'll pursue them to get Sakura back. This would have HUGE implications for how Sakura and Rin grow up, hell IF they do should Zoken decide to go after them, they have NO CHANCE. Or, he'd shrug it off as a minor loss as the greater goal was always the Grail, and the events of the final Showdown between Saber, Gil, and Iskander are WAY more important. So yeah, I can see things progressing from there, but no mistake, the end and possible 5th Holy Grail War would look REAL DIFFERENT from Cannon. i think it would be an interesting dynamic between karia and Knightingale, the man throwing away his life and Knightingale the Berzerker medic who would take up the fight to stop the killing. Its also ironic that in order to use her NP which heals targets and takes the fight out of her opponents, Karia would have to shorten the already dwindling life he has given up for the war. Literal opposites but i kind of dig the dynamic

The one thing I'd be most curious about with Nightinggale pairing up with Kariya is how much she is able to cure Kariya to begin with, being a nurse paired with someone who is literally close to death's door

I think Nightingale would've prioritized Kariya's life and welfare over the Grail War, being far more reticent to participate in any fighting when his life isn't in specific jeopardy. Nightingale Madness Enhanced reasoning makes her more benign relative to the vast majority of Berserkers we know of but at the same time she's uniquely pacifistic, which puts her far more at cross-purposes to Kariya's agenda than Lancelot ever was. He'd have to approach the whole war differently, or try to use command seals to make up for it.

Tsiah IV, i heard that for the 2010 FATE EXTRA, Florence Nightingale was supposed to be in that game as either a Boss or as a Playable Servant. so my question to you is this, if we get Florence Nightingale in FATE EXTRA RECORD, how will that affect both Story and Gameplay of FATE EXTRA RECORD?

Wait if Saber and Nightingale fight at the end, I argue when their NP clashes, Nightingale can still Survive while saber think she won. When the event of the fuyuki fire happened, Nightingale will end up priorities the people and save as much as she could while Kiritsugu also save people. This is crank ship but seeing a servant which is saving people and is about to disappear, Kiritsugu will give avalon to Nightingale for her to last long which led to both of them finding Shirou. So if Nightingale replaces Lancelot, we could get Kiritsugu x Nightingale parenting Shirou in F/SN plus with a servant in Kiritsugu hands he could take back Illya.

So the main problem is more just does Zouken just outright try and kill Kariya for failing and summoning, of all things, A FUCKING NURSE into the Holy Grail War? He 100% would see it as a failure and try and kill him right then and there. Meanwhile Nightgale looks at him for not even 2 seconds and tries to kill the infection right in from of her. Which given how much fasted she is and what would be around for her to use and her own gun she will probably be able to deal critical damage to Zouken even if he survives with as a few of the worms. Then she would be dealing with Kariya whose either in a worse or bettter state do to her being less outright mana hungry or if the Crest Worms start going ape shit inside him since Zouken dipped and would need to reassamble himself. Legit the Sakura problem might be taken care of then and there and Kariya might just dip if Nightingale doesn't want to deal with this shit or if Kariya doesn't want to kill Tokiomi for doing any of this. Then we need to actually understand how much Nightingale's NP would actually work on Kariya (as a heal/purge of infection ability) and other Servants(making them not want to fight) vs the mana cost of using said NP. If the Crest Worms still work then the mana cost in general will be a complete non-issue. If they are going haywire then it becomes a Kariya in general mana pool that needs to be addressed. Fruthermore we don't actually know how EX ranked Mad Enhancment actually effects a Servant in terms of buffing pure raw power. Is that a constant drain or only when they start actuslly trying to do something with their abilities? Do they even get a boost if they technically don't lose sanity do to just having a different way of thinking or being mentally ill? Hell, the womans stats are comparable to Lancelots. One rank down for STR and AGI but her END is actually better with a + modifer to Lancelote base A. Her LUK is also way higher at A+ and given how Artoria's LUK played a factor so to would Nightingales with "the small chance her healing could work" or the like. Honestly Nightingale and Kariya's dynamic would probably be more she was in charge and Kariya having to learn how to talk to her in general after they grab Sakura. Kariya only really making her do something about the Grail War because he would want to take out Tokiomei so we don't get a dock fight in general. They become a wild card for the whole rest of the War. In terms of actual combat it becomes what are we giving her actually? We see her throw hands with Goeita, her feats in the manga and how her nurse summon does have combat capabilities and can actually touch stuff from the OVA special. This along with the fsct her NP has a mental interference effect which makes people calmer so they won't be able to fight her as hard when she goes in to deal with her patients. Do we count is as magical? Mental attack? Reminder, those are actually treated different even though mana is used to do both.

The funniest thing is that Nightingale is known for eradicating pests in the trenches during a war to improve hygiene. Now if we take a look at where she is summoned-

She actually has pretty good combat stats compared to lancelot, mainly lacking one rank in strength and and agility, her skills are pretty good against most servants as well. Her NP is actually really interesting in this situation: 『Nightingale Pledge』 Rank: C NP Type: Anti-Army Range: 0-40　Maximum Targets: 100 I Will Abstain From All Poisons and Evils. A combination of her iron will, which faced death on the battlefield, as well as the modern concept of the nurse as an "angel in white", elevated to the status of a Noble Phantasm. *Nullify all toxicity and hostility within the effective range. An absolute safe zone.* It also has a healing effect.

I am kind of curious about one thing. Nightingale's noble phantasm. I am wondering if it might be able to save Kariya. It does seem to remove poisons and negative status effects from those around her. I think his condition with the crestworms might qualify.

Given that Nightingale would immediately identify Kariya's physical ailments, she's likely to try and use whatever means she can to help him get around without causing so much pain, if not dampen the worst effects of the Crest worms inside of his body. I could see him acting dejected at some point and Nightingale uses her Voice Skill to spur on his will to live and remind him there are still things worth fighting for. She honestly might not be able to save his life, but she'll damn well try her hardest to the very end.

I'm pretty sure that Nightingale would try to throw hands with Zouken since she'd precieve him as the parasite and know Iskandar he might actually try to flirt with Nightingale because of her strength

I wonder more: What would have happen, if Matou didnt targeted a berserk in the first place? Toria and Lancelot are both more suited for Saber class. It looked like, that all people summoned the servant around the same time. Would he ended up with berserk, no matter what? Or who could had berserk and saber otherwise? I have question for the numerous Phantasms inside of Gilgamesh's Gate of Babylon. We've been told that most if not all of the items in his treasury are all prototypes or template used to later all the items we use today and that they were also the base model for every Noble Phantasms used by other heroes. And all of this was stemmed from his travels and collecting things when he was still alive, so his these treasures came from 4000 years ago and were claimed to be better than those who came after them. He has the prototype model for Gae Bolg, Caladbolg and of course Merodach the father of all sword's of selection like Gram and Caliburn. But if you've played the VN or looked at any Fate site that talks about GoB, then you know that Gilgamesh owns Gram itself. The demonic sword in Norse myth. And when you look at the weapon menu, the Gram in his Gate has the same history used as the one used by Sigurd and his father, Sigmund. Now I don't know if its cannon in fate, but there's actually a story on how Gram was forged by a smith called Weyland, and it was placed in the trunk of the tree by Odin where Sigmund would pull out eventually. But if it is, then how did it come to Gilgamesh's possession? Another one is Durandal; a weapon that was first a sword owned by Hector, that was re-forged his spear, Durandina his Noble Phantasm in his lancer form, then was reforged into a sword again and as a conceptual weapon that holds three miracles. How did Gilgamesh obtain this sword? And again in the VN, the image of Durandal in Gilgamesh's treasury is 1-to-1 to the one Roland uses, the only difference is the color of the gem on the bottom of the handle, and it also has the same history as the actuall weapon used by Roland. And since Gilgamesh claims everything in his Gate was the real deal, which means that it IS the actual weapon, but it is also said that items in his Gate were obtained only during his time, so how is it possible to be the same sword? And that's not all; in Fate Zero anime you can actually see that he owns the Harpe, a weapon used by Perseus and owned by the greek god Hermes. And in FGO, if you pause kid Gil's Noble phantasm's animation before he starts shooting you can see: Leonidas's spear, Lu Bu's God Force, Benkei's Glaive and Trident, Hercule's Axe (3rd Ascension Ver), and what seems to be Ascalon (based by the shape of the blade). How is it that he owns these weapons that come later after his death?

i think the chances of teaming up with someone are not that far fetched since kariyas goal is not the grail, if nightingale could reach to iskandar or even saber to go save sakura they definetly would do so, nightingale teaming with either of them would have a good chance of defeating gil or atleast hold out until kiritsugu kills kirei
