Dr. Marshall, you so clearly articulated the outrage that has been in my heart for the last 10 years. The Mass is NOT a time to be cutesy, sing broadway show tunes, etc. I spent years at our NO parish, trying to “make it work”. When I attended my first TLM on Epiphany 2017, I wept. Here was peace, here was joy, here was home. God is all good, and He deserves right worship because it is DUE to him under justice. Pray for all the Fr. Jerrys out there. Invoke Our Lady of Good Success for the restoration of the Church.

Sadly this parish is about 35 minutes away from where I live which is in North Port Florida. I have heard over the last 10 to 15 years that this church is very liberal and many people have walked away from that church. I would say in the last 15 years of my Catholic faith my eyes have been opened up to the truth because of RU-vidrs like Dr. Taylor Marshall. I am happy and blessed to say that yesterday. My family attended their first Latin Mass 🙏🙏🙏🙏.

We have been attending the Traditional Mass for a while now. My 11 year old walked in the room when Fr. Jerry came up in the video, and her face is priceless 😂 she stared at me and asked “ what are you watching?” “ why are watching a video of another religion?” “Is that yoga?”

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Dr. Marshall! We took your advice and moved closer to a TLM church and that saved our sanity! The video of Father Jerry brought back so many bad memories. The strange thing about the Novus Ordo church we went to before, is that many of the people there seemed to really enjoy it. They liked the entertainment and the attention they received there. They completely missed the fact that the “Holy Sacrifice of the Mass” is supposed to be about God, not them. God bless you for spreading the real “good news”!

I grew up on Novus Ordo and recently turned to the traditional Latin mass. I haven't witnessed novus ordo masses like this one, but I'd literaly walk out if I did see this.

My mind was blown when I went to the Byzantine Catholic Church Divine Liturgy. So much better than NO. I even like it better than TLM.

Imagine all the people receiving on their knees, yooou. You may say that I am rigid but I'm not the only one, I hope someday the hierarchy joins us and Christ's Church can be as one.🌹

I am glad this madness hasn't reached Kenya yet. We have great reverence for Holy Mass.

Dr Marshall, I started going to the traditional Latin Jan 1st, and I swear I wasn't going back to the novus ordo, but my car had a minor issue so I couldn't drive the half hour to get there so I went to my regular parish which is novus ordo and I tell you Dr Marshall it didn't feel the same and from now with no more issues, I'm staying with the Latin rite. Amen

Hello there Dr. Marshal, I was in your exact place 6 years ago. Involved deeply in our Catholic Church, when our Priest walked up to the lecture stand and expressed that the Mass, the Creed and the Lord's prayer were being changed again. Lord forgive me, but my family raised up and walked out of mass and never looked back. This wasn't the rock we were promised. Four months later my wife and I walked into a ROCOR Orthodox Church to check out their Vespers. It was everything the Father's talked about. The reverence, grace and beauty. Christ was present along with all the heavenly hosts. The service was so overwhelming I cried uncontrollably. Lord Jesus Christ Have Mercy on Me a Sinner.

You know, as I came upon this video and its following comments all I could see and hear was JUDGMENT. Yes, judgment upon others on how they choose to praise and worship. Let’s leave the judgment up to Our Heavenly Father, shall we? You truly make me feel the need to breathe in and breathe out many times Dr. Marshall!

I am at a loss for words. Dr. Marshall keep up the good work and continue to spread the word of these sad “faux” Catholics.

I'm a sober alcoholic, and when I was an drinking alcoholic, I would have ran with his advice and kept drinking alcohol. This is just plain scary. Reminds me of a child's program on tv.

Brothers and sisters, I have known Fr. Jerry for over 20 years. I met him at a time when my Catholic faith was challenged. I have many Christian friends of other denominations. My Mother was a baptist. I was ready to leave The Catholic Church. But then we discovered life teen at Saint John’s in Naples Florida. We met Father Jerry and Father Steven, their upbeat way of holding mass kept me in the Catholic Church. I love the tradition of the church, but I also understand that there is much more to the relationship that we have with Christ. It is just that a relationship. The breathing is a meditation to calm one and to focus, to bring our attention to the one who is at the center of mass, Jesus. If we are the body of Christ, the church, the bride, this body it’s not just the Catholic Church, it is many denominations of the Christian faith. It is many churches, each one reaching, having an impact on those and its circle of influence. Just as though we may not fit in and a particular job we can find another office to work at, so to another Church where our relationship with God can flourish. This doesn’t mean that church is not reaching someone, that’s not bringing them back to the Catholic faith, it does not mean that it’s leading people astray. The mission of the church is not to be about the church but to be about Christ, and it is where we meet Him. “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” (Matt. 18:19-20.)

I was just praying day 5 of the Divine Mercy Novena after watching this video. I went back to it because what I am praying is tearing at my heart. Here it is. Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls of those who have separated themselves from Your Son's Church, who have squandered Your blessings and misused Your graces by obstinately persisting in their errors. Do not look upon their errors, but upon the love of Your own Son and upon His bitter Passion, which He underwent for their sake, since they, too, are enclosed in His Most Compassionate Heart. Bring it about that they also may glorify Your great mercy for endless ages. Amen. All I can imagine is His flesh and heart being torn apart by the likes of Father Jerry. I just immersed him into the ocean of His mercy.

I really wish that I could attend a Latin Mass but I live so far away from one. I am going to daily Mass and wearing my mantilla in solidarity with TLM.

Fr Jerry baptized my daughter 7 years ago. I left his parish not long after. I could not handle it any longer. I have so much to say about this parish and why I left and left the church for a while. Im a returning catholic joyful I went back but never again to Sacred Heart in Punta Gorda

How blessed you are to have the Latin Mass available to you! Most of us do not have that available to us.

In his homily this past Christmas he stated that the Virgin Mother had to suffer through labor pains and She was NOT a Virgin after giving birth to Jesus!!! He sent everyone a text message. We went there a few times when we moved here, little did we know!! But we knew it was not of God. AND there is NO Crusifix on, above, or ANYWHERE on the alter!!! We are with you on all things Dr. Marshall! Thank you for all you do. You and your family are in our prayers daily. Thank you for bringing this to light.

This is actually my local church (sacred heart) here in Punta Gorda, Florida. I go to a further church due to father Jerry. It is a very strange mass, where he actually seems to do a standup comedy show. Very little scripture is actually said in his mass.

Don't you just wish an angel like the angel who appeared at Fatima and gave Holy Communion to the children would appear to him? This video called to mind the last mass of Padre Pio and I just watched a video on it. That was like a breath of fresh air. Never been to a TLM but I've never seen a priest being like this at Mass.

I used to attend a NO but couldn't stomach it anymore. I remember at Christmas the lady was playing Christmas tunes on the piano and she would say, "and another favorite of mine is....." Like it was entertainment, it turned my stomach. I could write a book on the appalling things we suffered through at this Church. We even went to another Church thinking it would be better, it was just as worse. We finally learned of the TLM and have never looked back.

We were at a spiritual warfare this weekend with Fr. Chad Ripperger and it was worth every penny! ❤ However, one of the host on Saturday towards the end of the conference he announced a couple of Masses that people can attend. One of them was a Anglican Ordinarite Mass that he likes to attend. So, low and behold we decided to go because we've never been to one. And boy oh boy!!! Did I regret it 🤔 The priest before he talked on his homily he had to mention to us who didn't know him that he was married. I even over heard him at the conference outside jokingly with someone about his wife.. When I heard him i thought that was weird that he would say something like that. And the prayers are totally different. That'll be my first and last time attending this type of Mass. This priest here is just plain blasphemy 😒 towards the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

This is good. We should go scorched earth on this stuff. Hope to see more abuses being called out.

Dearest Brother Taylor, I agree with you about the abuses of the sacrifice of the Mass by many of the clergy. I have been witness to a few and have spoken up, sharing the truth with tough love. I get it. It is a battle for our true Catholic faith and Abba, our Lord, and the Holy Ghost. I am all in. To make those of us who either do not have regular access to the Latin mass or who can find true authentic worship in the sacrifice of today's Mass feel we are not worshiping in the 'right way or right mass' is a disservice to your brothers and sisters in Christ. I'm hoping and don't think you are judging us but just fighting for your ability to continue to worship in the form of the mass you choose. I can respect and support that. I can attend a Latin mass but if I do not have an understanding of my faith, our apostolic traditions, and the sacrifice of the mass or do not keep His commandments I am but a banging gong as scripture tells us. Even though I attend a post Vatican ll mass I do bring a reverencial spirit, repentant heart, and a sacrificial body to the worship of the mass. Although I have been to both I know that without a humble, obedient, and trusting heart the form of worship is a mute point. I come to give myself completely in repentance, worship, and gratitude, not just to receive. I assume you are condeming the glaring abuses we have seen and are not judging those of us who inspite of the post Vatican ll changes have found and continue an authentic walk because we have taken the time to understand our beautiful Catholic faith and still love our Creator with a healthy dose of fear. I thank you for your commitment, knowledge, and the light of truth you bring to this spiritual battle. I loved your book and refer to often. If we don't have a deep, truth filled, understanding of our Catholic faith and an obedient, trusting relationship with our triune God our walk is in vain and lacks authenticity regardless of what form our worship takes. Thats Fr. Jerry! He was s priest in our parish in St. Andrews in Cape Coral. He was ALWAY like that. Actually, he would sing the whole mass back in the day. His masses were like rock concerts back in the day. People loved it. He was the diocese darling. We all prayed for him. He’s a cancer survivor.. He was on a big lymphoma trial in the 90’s. He didn’t like any of the daily mass homeschool moms. Actually, it was really the old dragon ladies who ran the parishes and insisted little kids be locked in the baby room at the masses. But He always put on a "great show". I actually liked it back then. His music was better the the usual drivel. But the older parishioners didn't like kids. Seriously. He wasn't the only one at fault. This is a whole system. Our homeschool group was chased out of 3 parishes. We ended up at the Calusa Nature center, which the kids loved anyway. We also had a refuge in Lehigh, st. Rapheals because Fr. Cooney loved us. He was heroic. He was cancelled before it was cool to be cancelled. God rest his soul. But pray for Father Jerry and all the priests in SW Florida. The spiritual feeling there is very oppressive at most parishes, tho people seem oblivious to it. It's really sad.

I am watching this Father Jerry Kaywell he is a composer and, also a producer former ...Won some kind of a Grammy, played with all the big names in Hollywood! Two-time cancer survivor.. I can't believe he's a pastor of Sacred Heart.. I live 30 miles from Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Aberdeen South Dakota it is no where near what this is.. I was laughing at what seems to be his craziness but, people in his Parish obviously like this... 10 minutes of this of my going to Mass would cause me to get up and walk out ...I really don't know what to make of this except he needs a lot of prayers!
