Father Judge was defending PCL Champions and entered this game with an overall record of 4-2 and 3-0 in league play. La Salle was 1-3 in league play going into this game. Father Judge running back Brian Dulin (#21) finished this game with 268 rushing yards which was four yards shy of the the single game school record of 272 rushing yards set by Jerry Magallanes in a 1981 playoff game against Archbishop Wood.
