So what? What does that have to do with him having trash songs? Your comment is just what he was saying about artist wanting reality shows. Have you seen his album sales? No sales!! Okay so how is that underrated?
1990 Dallas Texas State Fair Father MC and Special was my very first concert ever I was a freshman in college legendary and if memory serves me correctly Mary J was singing back up at the time she was unknown. This is nostalgia
@@joannasjoyfuljourneys Wow, thanks. Always been a huge fan of their work. I wish they had a better manager back in the height of their career. They did so much especially Mark. Dude produced so many back then.
I met Father MC years ago, in ATL. TRUE STORY:He was the coolest!! I was literally sitting with my Sister, going over an Artist/Management and production contract, while the Presenter waited for me to return to the meeting to discuss signing. While outside of a restaurant or store, I noticed Father MC & his whole Entourage going in and I was super excited!!! I yelled out to him and he stopped and tslked with me and my Sister. THIS TIMING WAS IMPECCABLE! I had the fortunate opportunity and the nerve to ask him if he would take a quick look at the contract and share his professional thoughts. HE ACTUALLY DID & started flipping through the pages, literally got a pen, and started marking off red flags, one by one 🚩🚩🚩😂 His expressions were hilarious and how he explained how bogus some of the terms in the contract were! I could tell, a few of the Guys in team were trying to waving him over, probably due to a time/scedule issue, but he signaled like, naw, I'm gon help this Sista out. Well, his time wasn't wasted, cause I didn't sign that contract and didn't renegotiate either. I knew, he knew what he was talking about and I refused to get up caught up in a lame deal! One thing that stood out, was that he had a really strong accent, like from New York or something. Anyway, I will NEVER forget that and will always appreciate what he did. I think God sent him that day. I don't even know if he would remember that,...but I sure do 🙏🏽 He a cool Dude, in my book😎
Father Mc songs were perfect for nightclubs songs like everythings gonna be alright,i l do for you,69,treath m like they want to be treated and etc.,his songs were catchy and never boring
Its a shame that this guys ego really ruined his career, .. basically had 2 🎵 songs , mabe 3 , i was a huge fan being from queens and i met him a few times in Atlanta at goosebumps and chaos, lol 😆 he was still living off 1991 😂 it was 98 or 99... He just faded away , father mc should have been humble instead of thinking he invented rap and im sure things would have worked out differently for him.. really sad 3 songs .. 😮
Even though his ego was a bit much I don't think that was his biggest drawback, I believe the urban sound transitioned very very quickly from that New Jack Swing era and he couldn't adjust his sound to the changing scene... Basically he was one trick pony who based his whole career on the pretty boy/lady's man of rap, he couldn't do anything else so his career quickly fizzled away... Kind of like a Jaleel White typecast as an Urkel, maybe a bad analogy because Jaleel has done quite a bit after Family Matters but something like that... Father Mc was simply a lady's man rapper, nothing else..
True ..plus I never heard him talk till now 😂..he is actually kool..but I remember the story that uptown changed him from a street rapper and gave him the ladies man image ..like he said he ran with it ..but It wasn’t authentic and yes the game already had LL and Big Daddy who were simply better artists
Kinda hard believing that "rather love in a mansion and have a Bentley" talk...........Ni99as never even heard of Bentleys in '91,nothing but Benz & beamers was the luxurious cars back then....but oh yea,NO OTHER R&B GROUP COULD FK WITH JODECI IN THE 90S
