There are sites, especially on the dark web, that use pics of kids and freeze frames from vids of kids doing normal things for sexual gratification. It’s especially important for parents to be careful who they have giving access to their children now that AI has become more popular. You can literally make porn vids just by using someone’s face from a normal pic. It’s crazy out here and kids do not need to be posted extensively online for the public

He initially would not allow her to see the boys. He forced her to come and clean the house in order to see her children and referred to her on camera as the maid. He eventually cut cut her off from her children when she started dating someone new and would not allow the boys to mention. He implied she was never present to garner sympathy and views from YOU ALL and it worked. The COURTS ONLY ORDER SUPERVISED VISITS WHEN THERE IS A REASONABLE BELIEF A CHILD HAS BEEN NEGLECTED AND/OR ABUSED. The mom started the channel for memories but he deleted all the videos with her in them because he started telling YOU ALL he was a single dad and the mom was not present for support and views. The mom got a job working at AMAZON WAREHOUSE, SAVED HER MONEY AND FOUGHT TO SEE HER CHILDREN because he would not allow her to see them once she started dating someone else. He would not allow the boys to even mention their mom. The mom used to post HER children on her channel and on facebook but he made her take it down because he said her channels were interfering with his money.(her channels were not monetized) and she did not post them solely as income. There’s evidence of him telling the mom the boys were going to be famous and make a lot of money and he would not have to work anymore and she would not have to work as well. YES, HE SAID THAT AND THE COURT HAS THE EVIDENCE. He even tried to convince her to come back and she refused because of the ABUSE*. Now, ALL THIS IS EVIDENCE!!! There’s txt messaging as well. Plus he had a very nice career, not just a job, but was laid off during covid. Then began producing videos of the twins. Plus as it’s been said the twins were not allowed to mention their mother after he allegedly evicted her one night in the cold along with her other son. Besides the twins need to be raised with their older brother and he with his twin brothers. If it true he put out the twins mother out in the cold in the middle of the night with her other son, how will the twins feel about their dad treating their mom like that. They’re not going to like it. Why put their mother in harms way by throwing her out like that without money for the bus or a cab. His loving the twins, also means respecting their mom.

The Judge did her job BASED ON SOLID EVIDENCE PLACED BEFORE HER. This man never had custody he was keeping the children from their mother and refusing to allow her to see them. She has been fighting for 4 years to get to her children. He be*t her and put her out of the home at 4 am in the dead of winter along with her 9 years old son because she wanted to go back to work. She could not carry ALL THREE OF HER KIDS SO SHE TOOK her 9 years old son. They only wearing pajama and no shoes in Maryland 2020. She did not work nor did she know how to drive, he controlled her life completely. A stranger picked them up and took them to a bus stop. When the bus arrived, she explained what had just happened to her and the bus driver allowed them on and drove her to the nearest hospital. From there she called her best friend who picked them up and gave them shelter. She learned to drive, got a job at AMAZON WAREHOUSE, SAVED FOR A LAWYER AND BEGAN THE FIGHT TO SEE HER CHILDREN. SHE WON ON SOLID AND CONCRETE EVIDENCE!! He has SUPERVISED VISITATION ONCE A WEEK. PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH AS TO WHY AND WHEN THE COURT WOULD ORDER SUPERVISED VISITS ONLY. I actually used to watch the videos quite often and he took good care of the boys frim what i could see, but I alwayz thought in the back of my mind, where's the mom? I tend to agree with the children’s father. There was nothing exploitative about the videos, they just showed a dad who loves his kids in the joy when feels interacting with kids. The judge was wrong.

She was a stay-at-home Mom and uploaded the videos teaching them before they turned 1 years old after the Dad put her out, alienated her from her children and told everyone she was not present and could not be found. He warned everyone if they asked about the Mom he would block them and he did just that. He would not allow the children to speak of their mother. Now, the boys has fallen behind in school (so much for the private school education, huh). The children don’t need to watch videos to SEE how they were treated, they EXPERIENCED IT. And good Dads do not receive SUPERVISED VISITATION!
If he'd followed the court order and shared custody. he would probably have been ok. But, amid the lies he told about their mom, belittling the judge, failing his court ordered drug screens, he did his ALL to himself.

I just lost my brother and if I had to do life again with him I would record every millisecond. He was the most beautiful soul and keeping these memories with kids alive is a beautiful thing.
If the father equates this to child acting then he needs to place all the money in bank accounts just for the children to obtain when they're 25 years of age. This is their money. I think all these parents who constantly post videos of their children are exploiting them. Filming almost every interaction you have with your children, posting for the world, and profiting off of your children isn't a good idea. Children can NOT consent to anything.
You are correct. And he admitted in court that he SPENT every single penny those boys made. So much so that he didn't even have enough money to hire an attorney to represent him in the custody hearing. I used to watch them years ago until the mom made videos on you tube and told her story. Dad put her out. He wanted her to be a stay at home mom and she wanted to work. They got into big fight and put her out. He then kept her from the twins😢 The twins crossed my mind last month so I began looking for videos on you tube. So this is why I couldn't find videos. Dad is guilty of keeping the twins from mom. Seemed to me he was showing how smart and well mannered the twins are. And he taught them about God. I know mom is hurt (no pun intended) because she couldn't see her twins for years🙏🏾

Margo this is happening all over the country, the government is currently putting together legislation to legally punish parents who are sharing their children on social media. He's not the first who lost their children. The system works and many times, it doesn't. The exploitation of children is something that needs to be punished, but our systems way of doing it is too black and white and done without relatable perspectives. We are living in a social age, and it has become normalcy to post or share about our everyday lives. And many are blessed with the opportunity to make a profit from it, which is helping a lot of families give their children the best. We shouldn't all be to quick to judge from the outside looking in. One has to ask himself, why does the government seem so eager to remove children from happy homes but so reluctant to remove children from extremely abusive homes. Ask yourself how an absent mother could leave her children for 4-6 years of their life and then snatch them out of a happy home. The fact that a person could leave their children is one we should be very skeptical about. Where has the mother been all along, when the children were being "exploited"?
He's not the only one who has been made to stop, either. As a matter of fact, a woman was made to stop, then arrested and prosecuted after they discoverer actual abuse had been occurring. This isn't a conspiracy against fathers.
And, still, don't make it right. Other parents have complained of the same. Just because you want to exploit your children doesn't mean everyone else does. Money isn't everything...those kids privacy and safety should be.

I do not understand why everyone is assuming Mom is a bad person here. Just because Dad has a huge social media following doesn't make him the better parent. Mom is doing the right thing, keeping herself and her kids private. In my opinion, that was a "power" move by the Dad to use the media. Dad had 50/50 shared custody, but he refused Mom her time with her kids and now acting like he is the victim. Lets me realistic here, no court can act without evidence. If he got supervised visitation then there must be evidence. Dont forget the case was investigated for 3 years with Best Interest Attorneys, CPS, Child Therapists. They can't all be wrong! I've been saying that for years, posting your kids online is definitely exploitation, especially for monetary gain. Those kids are not child actors and in case he hadn't noticed, those child actors don't typically have the best lives and are frequently hurt by the lack of privacy, most times they have no ability to consent and their mother would also have to agree to something like that, which apparently she opposes.
He is a con artist who used those boys for a source of income & never had sole custody of those boys. He wouldn't allow the mom to see the boys therefore intentionally severing any relationship with her sons. So glad a judge made the right decision & saw through him. A loving father would not alienate their children from the mother & try to make it seem like she was unfit to his social media followers to get sympathy donations.
The father had full custody before this judge's ruling. I wonder why the mother didn't have custody. I also wonder why a judge could then reverse that decision and give custody to the mother for activities that most parents are doing with their children worldwide. There's much more to this story that's not being said.
@ShreiD, the father NEVER had full custody. No one, nor mom or dad had full custody; however, the dad put the mother out and would not allow her to see or talk to her children. He alienated them from her. She began to fight her children in 2020 to establish custody. She was recently awarded custody and he was awarded SUPERVISED VISITATION. This was based solely from DOCUMENTED EVIDENCE PRESENTED IN COURT! The court does not order SUPERVISED VISITS BASED ON HEAR SAY. This man is not what he is trying to portray himself as!
I’m blown away at how many people in this comment section are defending this man for exploiting his kids. Sure, maybe he does love his kids, but that doesn’t negate the fact that he plastered their faces all over the internet for the world to see without their consent and against the wishes of their mother. If this was some white Utah Mormon mom everyone would be approving of the judge’s decision. Someone needed to be held accountable and used as an example for what I hope becomes a more regular scenario for people who “vlog” their kids. He lost the custody battle apparently and the mom has her twins. Plus it’s been said one twin or both have had numerous injuries sustained from him. It’s sad he didn’t maintain his relationship with the twins mom and marry her rather than shack up with her. What a beautiful family that would’ve been. I’ve also seen a video of the mom working, playing, and teaching her twins.
Why would you think that? Because I'm defending her? I will NEVER low rate nor belittle another woman until/unless I have factual information, but no, I'm not. However, I have had the presence of mind to read ALL the court transcripts of this custody battle. I was troubled by some of the staged videos he posted (staged and admitted to by his own sons.) by court appointed attorney for the boys. I watched April Johnson's video a couple of years back explaining her side of the story before she removed it from the internet. She was/is a mother who fought and was determined to just see her sons, and try to keep them safe from his emotional abuse. There is so much he is STILL not telling in his interviews about WHY they were removed from his custody.......and it was certainly not just because of the videos. He is NOT the person (I refuse to use man here) he portrays himself to be. As a mother and grandmother, I'm grateful that God saw fit to grant her SOLE custody of those boys. They are now in a home where they are free, safe and loved.

Because they were his ONLY means of support and Mom did NOT want her boys to be monetized on Facebook nor Instagram. So he refused to co-parent with her, and although they had JOINT custody until a final determination could be made, he REFUSED to allow her to see the boys, or exercise her weekends with them. She's been fighting for her sons since he kicked her out of the house. He wanted people to think he was raising them on his own (wanting people to believe she left them because she didn't want them/died, etc.) He wanted people to think he was, as he called himself, "a single dad." He would not allow the boys to mention their mom in ANY of the videos, and if they did, they got in trouble!!! He was rotten to the core!! There are reasons why Mom got SOLE CUSTODY of those precious boys and he only got one day a week of SUPERVISED VISITATION!!!! They belong where they are........with their Mom!!!!

There is no lawsuit. He refused to co-parent with April and continued to keep those boys away from her, which is one of the MANY reasons why he lost custody of the boys, as well he should.

Threatening to call the police on her if she keeps calling to face time with him. She got him in court, pleaded her case about all the things he's been doing (like lying to CPS that she beat on them) and won full custody. That's what the mom been doing to save her children.
Something tells me Mom always had a problem with this and the Dad went along anyway. Now, she found a judge that would listen and, unfortunately for the Dad, agreed. I do think it's important to keep children safe and that's hard to do with an online presence. But, I don't think this father is a harm to his children and keeping them from him has to be sad for the boys. I hope this arrangement is temporary. Even if the social media ban remains, he should be in his children's lives.

i always had a feeling he was doing it for the money. he used to by a product and have the kids promote it. he would tell the boys....now tell nike they should come sponsor us. once the mom stopper by there and he wouldnt put her face the on the camera. she sat on the couch and he just ignored her and kept showing the boys. it was the weirdest video. i never saw her in 1 video after that. i really think he uses them too!

Don't quickly take his side, there's alot of layers this story. Do your research, he's not the perfect dad that you think. The mom has been fighting for them the whole time. He has been making money off of those boys, so things are not as they seem, before you take sides. He's a great actor to.

If the Mother is capable of caring and providing for her children as well as the father … why should it be that either parent go to jail. That will be detrimental to the children. Their co-parenting needs to be in place for the kiddos.

You need to look up the back stories of mom before you make a statement of what she was and wasn’t allowed to do with those children . He’s had custody of his sons since birth for a reason and had a large support community of family and friends. They have a childhood it’s not like they were on a production schedule and those boys were set up financially as well. So if she was after the money I hope that it’s set up for withdrawal of necessity for those babies only.😢

He put her and her son out in the middle of the night because she wanted to go back to work (they were old enough to walk and talk then). The money those boys made on social media is GONE......BECAUSE HE SPENT IT ALL!!!!! He admitted that in court, which is why he didn't have an attorney.......because he had no money to pay one. He still has no job because the money the boys made was his only means of support. Their Mom works every day, and he is still begging for money from people. I think the judge is correct about the children being exploited but her remedy was outrageously wrong. The videos should've been ordered to be deleted because no person should have their most intimate moments posted online without their consent and those children are unable to consent. They should never have been removed from their father though. That should be reserved for abusive and dangerous homes
@homipside. There is so much more to this story! The dad was ordered to removed the videos months ago he refused to follow the court order. After custody was awarded to the mom he finally removed that channel in question and went a started another channel with a similar name and has been uploading old videos there, still being defiant. And to answer that last sentence you wrote…The court ordered he ONLY HAVE SUPERVISED VISITATION AND THAT DECISION WAS BASED SOLELY FROM DOCUMENTED EVIDENCE THAT WAS PRESENTED IN COURT! Now go and read Maryland’s Law as to when/why the court will order SUPERVISED VISITATION. This is not just about them being on social media, many parents post photos, videos, shorts etc on various social media platforms he is not an anomaly.

Although I have seen other cultures of families doing the same thing, I knew they were going to get him for that. I just had a feeling. Sometimes I thought he was posting too much. You can't do what other cultures do. When are we going to learn that??? They are going to come after you every time!

There's a very public story ofva hwite woman who was made to stop posting her kids. Later true abuse was discovered and she was arrested and charged. This isn't a conspiracy against fathers or black people.

She could not take her babies with her because she had to carry her 9 years old son. He did not have custody of the children but he began to alienate the mom from them and spend a narrative that she was not in their lives. The mom found a job at AMAZON WAREHOUSE, saved her money and hired an attorney. The mom had been fighting to be apart of their lives since 2020. So if mom could save and retain an attorney while working at Amazon Warehouse and taking care of her other 2 sons, why he could not save ALL the money the boys made for him from social media (his employees/sons) and retain an attorney as well. That was his choice to show up to court without an attorney but driving a $90,000 vehicle, living in a upscale community, boasting about paying tuition for a tier 1 very expensive private school and posting his lavish trips.

I used to watch the show. The boys seem to be very well taken care of, taught many life lessons of love, respect and care. This is baffling many people post their children and it's not nearly as positive as this dad videos.

Many/most of those videos were staged, and he would not allow the boys to mention their mom, wanting people to believe he was raising them as a "single dad." If they accidently said Mom, they got in trouble, because she never wanted them to be monetized. Last but not least, he continued to FAIL court ordered drug tests. These are just some of the reasons why he gets only one day a week, one hour a week of SUPERVISED VISITATION, and mom received SOLE CUSTODY!!! This judge got it right.

He refused to co-parent with their Mom and kept the boys from her when it came time for her visits with them, ALL ordered by the court. He was also ordered to REMOVE ALL VIDEOS, likeness of the boys OFF OF SOCIAL MEDIA platforms, and to this day, HAS NOT DONE IT. This is why he's being held in contempt of court and will have to answer those charges in court next month. He's lying to the public about EVERYTHING, but he's such a narcissist he thinks he can do it and the rules don't apply to him.

Have you sat down and heard her story? Don’t be so quick to judge off one side of the story. My ex had supervised visitation with our son. He made people believe I was the worst and I destroyed the family. It wasn’t until one of his friends had the guts to come to the house and sit down with me. I showed him the court papers, pictures and proof of what actually happened. He was in shock and very surprised at my ex husband’s behavior toward us. So again I say don’t judge unless you know facts. My son is almost an adult and I have never told him anything about what happened. I never will. He loves his dad and that its what matters to me most that they have a relationship.
Horrible decision by the judge to have supervised visits when there is clearly no physical or mental abuse to these boys. Regardless of what happened with the mom and the judge's dislike of the videos this man should never be denied custody of the children. The judge seems exceptionally unreasonable and could have handled this much better.
How do you KNOW there was no physical or mental abuse??? Have you read the court transcripts? There is a reason why their Mom was awarded SOLE CUSTODY and he gets only ONE day a week of SUPERVISED VISITATION. Know the facts before you blame the court, the judge or mom.
Right because according to one of the commenters, she did the same until he asked her to stop. They should have cooperated with each other and did a healthy co-parenting page with the children. It would go a long way and be a great model for others who split up AND still want to keep the kids FIRST.
The judge is not going to give this father his children to show on the internet. He should be able to see his boys without the exploitation. He’s not fighting for that. He’s fighting to put them on a World Wide stage which puts them at risk. He needs to come up with another plan. Great judge!

The mother never wanted the children from birth. Mr. Hurt refused to go into details on camera to protect his boys saying that one day they would see the videos. He always ficused on showing them hiw to love and support each other, have fun, learn and enjoy the innocence if their youth. The mother may have decided to benefit from financial gain. Clearly you have no clue! Dad violated court orders to remove them from social media. He is now facing contempt of court charges on 29th July to explain himself. She has been fighting for her kids for years. Dad violated court orderd shared custody from Aug-2022. He failed court ordered drug test. Courts investigated this case for 3 years with CPS, best interest lawyers for the twins and therapists for the kids. They found he was not FIT to be their guardian and needs supervision when he is around them. Research this man before you comment negatively about Mom. She won because he was a deadbeat Dad using his children to make money for him. Read court records for MaryLand and educate yourself on this case before ypu make such ignorant and false comments!
@meed8738. The Mom is not jealous she put that channel up to try a make every one aware that she was alive and trying to see her children. The videos she put up on the new channel were old videos from the channel she started originally with the kids. He put her out, would not let her see her kids (alienated them), deleted the videos she was in, monetized the channel and led everyone to believe she was deceased and he was a single dad. Again, that is why she made that channel. Once he found out about that channel he started a narrative that she was not around and he couldn’t find her. He would not allow the boys to speak about their mom in videos or he would get upset, ignore them or try to redirect their conversation. In a video, one of the twins picked up an acorn and said I’m going to give this to mom, he responded, where you gonna find her. The little looked confused because they were aware of the mother and before she started dating again, they still had contact with her. He cut her off once she entered into a new relationship. The mom posted a video of the children being dropped off to her at a park, at an amusement park as well as at her home. He did not know she was recording this. Yes, she was always there before he ALIENATED HER. ALL THIS WAS ONLINE BUT HE WAS ORDERED TO TAKE THE VIDEOS DOWN!

He spent it all and there wasn't even enough for him to hire and attorney to represent him in the custody hearing. Yes it was exploitation. Why can't he get a job? Covid ended a long time and things are back to normal now. He didnt save a dime. Used all of it on a lavish lifestyle. They are too young to consent to this. There should be laws against parading minor children on social media for the parents to get an income. This Judge should be investigated because I watched this man with his kids, and he was a wonderful father. Do you know how many Black kids wish they had their Black father in their life? This man is positive and spiritual and teaches them right from wrong. He's absolutely wonderful. Please, this judge is wrong, and this man needs to take it all the way. Kids have become insta famous from being online. Heartbreaking. However, here is a possible approach to getting this decision overturned. Find other single parents in the same jurisdiction doing exactly what this father was doing. If it's a single mother, it will be more ammunition against this woke "Karen" of a judge. It's INSANE that this judge took away this man's parental rights because he was posting their daily life on RU-vid.
He was taking care of the kids but, he also was being selfish by keeping them away from their Mom....instead of co parenting with the best interest for the kids.
