She always bought presents for her other 3 grandchildren but never for our son. I always had to buy presents for birthday and Christmas for him and I wrote her name on it so he would think he got a present from her. When he became and adult her found out that I did that. He was also omitted from her will (his dad passed) but the other 3 had equally division of her estate

Maybe not. Remember he didn't go with his mother's choice and he is in the military. Seems like she has control issues as well as respect issues.

It can work out even though him being away in the army and the kids complicate things. The young lady needs to stay firm, polite, and cordial while enforcing her boundaries. Therefore, while she sparkles with joy and light, the future MIL comes across as even more viscous, evil, and spiteful directly and indirectly attacking someone that is basically fighting back by not fighting. Of course, she also needs to make sure she documents it in a private way like a diary and in digestible morsels let her fiance know what is going on, why she feels she can not leave the kids with grandmother and why his mom his stressing her out - behavior to her, stuff she is saying to others about her, court, etc. Besides the fact that she needs to keep in mind that as a deployed soldier he needs to be able to keep his head level to stay focused on his work, he needs to come to his own conclusion if and how he changes his relationship with his mother. If she tries to force it, and he is not ready, the future MIL will get her wish.

've been watching russian romance movies (Love Buster) on RU-vid & also Chinese romance movies - with closed captions. The sons; mothers are even WORSE! They try to make their sons marry who they, their mothers want them to marry, & they almost always hate the woman that their sons love!

More common than you may realise. It's called "rose coloured glasses". There are plenty of mothers sadly, including mine) who act like this if they don't approve of their future daughter-in-law. I was the son who experienced this first-hand, and saw my mother's willful and selfish acts. I moved interstate with my job.

Like yes MIL is crazy but that woman is leaving her kids in her care for 5-7 days at a time on a regular basis while she’s out traveling around and “living her dream.” If she was a responsible parent she would get a regular 9-5 to be able to spend quality time with them. MIL probably would have been fine with watching from for a few hours after school. That many days is excessive.

The judge is a lawyer and has recently become an actual judge in Texas, but these are reenactments based on real events that occurred in child support court but they change the names and have actors playing the part.

I could not have been watching the same video as you because the mother of the children displayed absolutely no narcissistic behaviours, while the mother in law acted like she was following a guide for narcissists. The MIL was rude, lied and only changing her story when forced with evidence by the judge, she belittled her future daughter in law, she is acting this way because her son did not choose to marry the girl she picked out for him, she mocked the food choices her future DIL made, she made this claim in court when her son was not available to testify and possibly even know she was doing it. Talking under her breath, making unsubstantiated claims against the FDIL, constantly interrupting, mocking any emotion the FDIL made (I say this even though I personally have a very negative view on crying in this sort of situation), she refuses to accept that her son could be any things other than perfect therefore could never love or have chosen Tracey as his future wife or mother of his children. She looked like she was delighting in the torment she was delivering, and seemed to honestly believe that she was somehow the victim in this whole situation. The fact that the FDIL would even ask about counselling shows that she does not want to drive a wedge between her MIL and her children and fiancée . I would not be surprised to find out that the MIL ends up having little or no contact with her grandchildren, or for the family to go no contact with her. Why would anyone want to have such a horrible toxic person in their lives? I can only hope that this whole thing was an act to try and get Internet famous.
