Sounds good but is obviously completely ineffective. I don't mean to offend but let's just be honest about it. In most inner-cities there are more churches than there are schools and their crime rates are still sky high. You don't think people who live in these situations aren't praying every single night for the end of this senseless violence?
Prayer without action does nothing. The government needs to step in. Whether they use counseling or force it doesn't matter they just need to try something.

It's a total disgrace. Now you can't even ride your bike in the hood for this dum shit. How can you teach these people about humanity. You cannot even count the number of generations affected by this scenes less killing, and you want to know when will the killing stop.
Send in special ops, Seal Teams, Rangers, Delta to rid the problems. Barricade the problematic areas and send in Marines just like they do in Iraq. Just use military strategy. The police alone will and cannot solve this problem

I feel you on the government and people do need to pray for Chicago, and I'm like wtf is Obama doing I thought he was sitting there before he got the big seat in Washington...
