Today we going to show you , how NOT to repair your SRS airbag system on your car . The car we are working on is Mercedes CLS 320 CDI . The car came with , a lot of electrical problems , but we decided to film one of them . After changing the leather of the wheel , the customer had issue turning the SRS light off , so let's see what is the problem and how we going to fix it .
The error / fault codes :
9122 The resistance value in the ignition circuit containing component R12/14 ( Driver airbag ignition squib 2 ) is too low
9123 The resistance value in the ignition circuit containing component R12/14 ( Driver airbag ignition squib 2 ) is too high
9102 The resistance value in the ignition circuit containing component R12/13 ( Driver airbag ignition squib 1 ) is too low
9103 The resistance value in the ignition circuit containing component R12/13 ( Driver airbag ignition squib 1 ) is too high

You just saved me a big headache! I was having same problem from missing clip, thought Id gotten another bad clockspring but luckly used clip from old faulty unit now all is good thank you sir

Another good one! That's the way we somethimes fix cars. Customer woun't pay for proper fix. But I make sure he understand the way I'm gonna fix it, to take off responsibility from myself. The thing is, they somethimes go to another garage that would sell them a story about very cheap and proper fix with original parts... Greetings from Serbia.

Greetings. Your video is very helpful. I have a mercedes with the srs code B 1864 the resistance value in the ignition circuit containing component R12/2 front passanger ETR ignition squib is too high. What can I do to bypass this and turn the srs light off , thank you for your help

Hi crank I have cuestion my 2 front shock they have no leeks but is not going up ,air compressor working fine . I have cls 500 06 any idea what is wrong

Very helpful I had code 9183 r12/1 resistance too low appear on my 2007 clk convertable after changing the drivers seat belt.....and loosing this clip! Now I know what is wrong, thanks

I disconnected airbag when changing combination switch and now I have srs on. Should it dissapear when plugged in or you always need tool to clear it????
