So glad you show the correct way to cut out fur pieces snipping only the backing fabric...I hate to see when people cut the fur and ruin the edge....Very nice pom pom!

I make amigurumi dolls and I'm planning on making some of these for some beanies I wanna do next. The excess fur can be used as stuffing too! Just mix it with the polyfill. =)

You can also use an x-acto knife to carefully cut the fabric and it helps reduce cutting the fur as well.

i use small nail scissors to start it and then super pointy medium size one. fiskars have great ones

You think I can make them small enough to use a shot glass instead of a soup bowl I need them small small I'm wanting to make nail pom poms out of some rabbit furs I came into for my picture backgrounds 😁
