Fave Movie Scene Series: Rad 1986 Qualifying Race :) 

Definitely rented this over 100 times from my local video store as a kid. Then my bootleg, vhs/burned dvd got me by for a few decades. My incredible wife got me the ultra HD special edition Blu-ray for my 40th and it is so awesome!! And now my 3 boys love RAD just as much as I do 🤘🤘

This is like 10x speed as the original hahah

Playback speed .75x gets you close to the original.

The kid in the woollen sweater vest at the 0:10 mark makes me laugh everytime. He has the 75 number plate on his handle bars. He has no chance of qualifying.

I was born in March of 1977 so this was right in my wheel house🤙 I remember my old black “BMX” bike which had the number plate on the front of my bike like the pros did. This was such a cool movie 🎥

Put on 0.75x speed. Helps.

Change the playback speed to .75 and it’s just about perfect 👌

It’s only sped up by 1/4 but adjusting the playback speed kills audio quality.

In the real world Cru would have been disqualified for going outside of the designated course. But we didn't care about rules in the 80s! This was a great time to be a kid. :-) For the most part. LOL!

Does anyone else find it weird that Luke did not have another front rim with him for the biggest bmx event of his life. One accident and one bent rim and that’s it? You’re out? Also, with all those factory vendors at the race, he couldn’t buy another one and put it on? Weird.
