Glad to see someone else giving some love to Pramikon! I absolutely concur with your summary that Pramikon is an original RWU commander that isn't focused on spellslinging. Controlling combat then lends itself amazingly for superfriends and forced/political combat. I brewed a superfriends build myself that I uploaded a couple of days ago and I also like your version with forced and controlled combat. That's definitely another great avenue to take Pramikon through.

This is definitely a deck where you should run a card like Gisela, Blade of Goodnight. Her ability to double any damage dealt to your opponents whilst simultaneously preventing half of any damage going towards you just goes hand-in-hand with Pramikon's primary strategy. How is she not on your list? :D

It takes a twisted sort of mind to look at a card like Pramikon, Sky Rampart and go "This is gonna be so fun" as you build a combat control deck.… Well played DJ.... well played

Yknow, you ARE right. Like you said, this changes the rules of the game. And you're the only deck prepared for it. This is a fun way to play. I think it got bashed because it doesn't help out many existing decks (any?). But it's a whole new deck, and that's awesome.

DJ, I literally told people when this card was spoiled that it was the Jeskai aggro commander I had been looking for. I've been building this deck and we're using a lot of the same strategies. I included the Vow cycle of auras instead of the Hunted Cycle of creatures.

My Narset Superfriends deck has lead me to believe that Jeskai is the best, most fair form of both Superfriends and Narset. Pramikon seems like a solid substitute if Narset is too scary for the table and will get you quick hate.

Oh my God, I love this whole concept!!! Been wanting to build a deck that gives out creatures, and was thinking about thantis, but was worried that people would turn on me if I give out gift creatures, and what happens when I can't defend it. This idea of giving out creatures and controlling combat actually sounds so much more powerful!!

I am running him as a blink deck using stuff like Mirror March, Impact Tremors, and even Worldgorger dragon to create some great advantage with blink in red. And man am I pumped to see this work out!

Im loving the list and video for a commander that I first thought was meh at best now has me excited to build it and pilot it so thank you for that.

It's interesting how much of this wound up in the commander master's planeswalker party deck. I just slotted Pramikon in place of Guff and off we went.

Wow, a deck that Aeon Engine would be AWESOME in. Ensuring turn flow so that the person who you have to attack is tapped out (due to all creatures having to attack) when you attack is pretty sweet, while your sitting pretty behind war tax, propaganda, ghost prison, some walls, ect.

Ya just have to have an imagination for Pramikon. I can't wait to build it.

I absolutely love this direction for Pramikon. It reminds me a ton of the Saskia deck I just built with Marisi and Thantis as 'hidden commanders'. I may have to test this Pramikon build and see how it goes!

While not a card I want to build a deck around, I do think it has a high potential for trolling your playgroup. It is a control commander and could do very well. Until people figure out that they can just kill your commander :P

I have a jund deck that plays to the exact same beat. Super politics, encourage attacks, give attackers to everyone, group slug. It never ever wins. And you know what? I love it.

Hey DJ, I got a good card for you to consider since you're running Teferi's Protection and Blue Elite Arcanist 3U 1/1 When It enters the battlefield, you may exile an instant from your hand X, T: Copy exiled card. You may cast it without paying its mana cost, X is the cmc of the spell Basically, you play Arcanist, exile Teferi's protection from hand, and now you can use Teferi's protection as many times as you want Since Phasing doesn't count as the creature entering or leaving the battlefield, it sticks

Thank you for the vid!! Being a big Jeskai player myself, I'd already built something similar with Ishai and Ludevic at the helm, but it was pretty clunky (and I built it just before BBD was announced lol), but I just know that it's gonna be led by Pramikon from now on :D

Same! Love it so much. Won a match last night with it, pinged for 56 damage directly when nobody could swing.

Don't forget Archangel of Strife and Crescendo of War, two of my favorite game accelerants. Also remember Crescendo pumps all attacking creatures, but also pumps only your blocking creatures, so if you can give them first strike/double strike/vigilance you'll be set on defense while everyone else rips each other apart.

I'm looking forward to your Marisi decktech. Really exited for that deck.

I made him my commander without hesitation when I got the deck. Added Walls, Tetsuko Umezawa, High Alert and a little more tax with Baird. I kind of sit there, blocking and drawing until I have unblockable walls... or 30+ Pegasi.

I really think Marisi is better at this strategy than Pramikon, but Pramikon does have better colors for it I guess. That said, I really like Pramikon, and have made a deck with it too. Glad to see a video for this interesting commander!

YEAHHHH! I’m glad you love Pramikon too, it’s the most interesting for me too, Elsha, Kadena and K’rikk are definetly more competitive, but this is funnier XD My first thought was Avatar of slaugther, warmonger Hellkite (glad to see you thought to them too XD) or even bitter feud combined with blink tricks, to change the direction every time it’s needed😍

Manipulating combat is a really fun concept for a deck, and Pramy is probably the most impactful commander for doing that.

i thought the same as you, this is my new deck now and im super happy, let me add gisela blade of goldnight to the warmonging stuff. I added a hefty amount of coutner to prevent combos and wrath of god efects. we wat people to keed p hitting each other. also i noted i could finish people or board clear with earthquake and molten disaster since most of our bombs fly. gisela and the wanderer can mitigate the damege to our own face but since we control the combat we probably are higher than the oponents we are finishing. also sharkan masterless and one of our dragons like niv mizzet dracogenious ow warmonger hellkite plus a basisk collar means killing all atackers that go into us. also sarkhan makes our walkers go to war!!

I've built a variant of this and I have to say the land "forbidden orchard" is an all star. Taps for any color you need and gives your opponents free 1/1

Play this deck with a decent number of counterspells to both protect the commander and deal with opponents' non-combat victory conditions. Maybe play spell-on-stack-stealing/exchanging effects for flavor. Also consider Peacekeeper if going heavy on the planeswalkers rather than the combat manipulation.

This card is sweet, but grismold has gotta be the most exciting for me... I am so pumped to make it. I ordered 8 of him to throw in various decks, and to brew his own deck too!

I already built the superfriends deck for when people want to play casual decks. It's an absolute blast

I tried to do something very similar to this with the 4 colour group hug commander (kynasios and tiro? I don't care to look up how to spell it). The idea was to build a coliseum for our opponents to fight in, and for us to watch from...then we double-triple our mana, give everyone 20-some 1/1 hasty elementals with tempting vengence, then ezuri's predation with mass hysteria on board. Everything has haste and I just turned the opponents 20 1/1's into MY hasty 4/4's. Way more interesting combo than a boring old insurrection.

Not only was this my 2nd favorite (behind Alta Palani) but that artwork! Richard Wright strikes again. I'm hoping ultra pro makes a playmat because holy cow i need one ASAP Edit: I think Boros Battleshaper is GREAT in your deck too

I was building Mathas/Queen Marchesa, but now I want to build this; it's exactly what I've been waiting for. I also can build with the new Naya Cat Commander instead of Tana/Sidar partners at the helm.

Thought about putting conjurers closet in this deck for repeatable ETBs with the commander and the ability to attack someone then make them have to attack the other way/

Marisi Break of the Coil seems like he would be a fun build around to me for sort of the same reason, kind of wish he were five colours so you could make use of all the cards throughout magic's history that encourage combat, particularly combat aimed at everyone else. I just like the idea of sitting back while everyone else desperately attacks each other.

I never for the life of me think anyone would want to run Zedruu the Greathearted but now I can see now I know and I thank you for showing make deals with everyone on the table give them new toys and men and force them to fight each other. This deck is literally America Magic. Finally I have a purpose to use hunted cards

i made a pramikon walkers deck, it completely messed with the game n game lasted 3 and a half hours n i won after the player to my right killed the other 2 players and then i milled him out :'D

Feels like a fun jeskai chaos commander

Only real downside with this commander is that you enable decks that need time and safety to build up and explode. When you start to see those decks getting stronger, but not everyone can slam them before what ever combos are coming, it can be a real feel bad situation knowing your commander lets him get away with it.

Definitely an underrated.

It's a very unique commander, and super cool deck idea, but I have to say that it will likely only be viable when playing with Jank-Casual level decks. I can' see it performing well against Focused-Optimized decks. Love to be proven wrong!
