Yeah I can’t eat any of those protein bars with the 1 gram of sugar. They all have a ton of sugar alcohols and the fake fiber. Kirkland, One, Quest, etc. they rip my stomach apart.
Great take on the high protein foods available at Costco! - but I have to say, I am amazed to see Egg Whites and Hard Boiled Eggs for sale in this way. I mean - what do they have to do to them to give them any type of shelf life? I think I'll skip these and just make my own.
Great video! These videos are super helpful to keep me on track and focused while in Costco. Because lets face it...we've all over spent at Costco and bought stuff we shouldn't have.
Do you have better options for protein bars (with passing the test and high in fiber) at other stores? I can’t get behind the taste of the Kirkland brand ones 😂
If you look behind him, you’ll see the Orgain RTD with 30g protein each. The Chocolatey Fudge is pretty decent. When it’s on sale, it’s between $.05 and $.06 per gram of protein. I stock up whenever they get discounted.
I tried the chocolate and chocolate peanut butter Premier protein shakes and the flavor was just too sweet for me. I’m going to try the Fairlife brand now.
