Dot you always leave the best comments!!! Actually I bought the necklace from Mary (Ancestral Beginnings on RU-vid) isn't it great? I found out more info on the laundry pins from other viewers...the big ones were used to fasten butchers aprons, and the smaller numbered ones were used as claim tags for clothing bins at swimming pools!!!

I love that I now have some reference for these charming industrial vintage pins!!! Butcher apron pins...who would have guessed? Not me LOL! 😂Another subscriber was sharing with me that the pins with the numbers on them were used as "claim tags/pins" at swimming pools where she would have her clothing held in a numbered bin that matched the number on the pin while going for a swim! Such fun learning about found objects❤❤❤ I am so happy to have you as a new subscriber & friend🥰

Yes Linda, I have one bell that I bought in France that looks like a lady ( I think it might actually be English) but the design is similar to the Southern Belle Bells (thats a tongue twister!). I like penny dolls too, I usually call them "Flapper Dolls" because of the short hair and moving arms...I might need to share that in part 2! ( or just do a separate Doll Collection video all together). Winter is a perfect time to do videos like this for me so might as well do several!!!

@@AntiqueAgenda the penny dolls I’m referring to don’t have moveable arms. They are no more than 3” tall. Also, I remember going to the city plunge to swim and you would put your street clothes in a mesh bad and turn them in and they would give you a numbered pin to put on your bathing suit. That is what your pins reminded me of. Yes, do more videos about your doll collection. I have a collection and my friend and I use to change their clothes and “play” with them as adults. It is fun to discover our childhood all over again. Something I don’t see is paper dolls. If seen reproductions in books but not the old ones. So glad to find someone who loves the “wee” things

I'm in Toronto and my booth is about 40 minutes north of here, on the way to cottage country...kind of get the best of both worlds...rent is reasonable, and still get lots of Torontonians on their way north for the weekend. I agree, just love decorating my booth...it adds a creative element to the selling. Thanks again for your channel. I've subscribed and will be watching for certain!

Ironstone butter pats sound like a fun collection Jean... I love trophys too but they are oh so pricey! I have a beautiful large one that I paid several $$$'s for but I fell in love & couldn't walk away from it. (I will share it in a video one day!) Are the English wood bread boards similar to the French ones? I will have to search those to see what they look like!!!

Yes the English and French are similar. I have one English one I bought at an antique show probably 35 years ago and paid $12. It’s round and has carving around edge and says Bread😊
