Capitan Wayne, You should really add a link to your Patreon account in your video description. It would be helpful and no doubt lead to more Patreons. Cheers!
Nice. Do you go without a regular drill then? I carry a 1/2" chuck full-sized drill motor aboard. I can almost see a small angle drill replacing a regular drill motor, an angle grinder, and maybe even a sander, although a good 5" random-orbital sander is a hard tool to go without. The few times I've needed a grinder it's almost always been too much tool for the boat. They are big and heavy, too powerful, almost never variable-speed, and all the other things you mentioned about the mess they make on a boat. I think just replacing a regular angle grinder that an angle drill would be worth having aboard and pay its own way on a boat with limited tool storage.
I still use a portable drill for most of my drilling and driving work. Mostly use the angle drill for grinding and such. I almost never use a full size grinder anymore. I still use a 5" orbital sander though for sanding. Thanks for the comments
