The experience is very beautiful and painful I studied kungfu under shifu kanishka and also in Yunnan temple china the masters there while training will be very strict but after training they are very sweet and all other traines with me were also very cooperative and friendly
It's why I learned myofascial self release. I manage even hamstrings now, with it alone and gentle touch technique I use to perfection now. Light pressure "speaks" gently to our connective tissue that we traumatize. Yin of the Yang, connective tissue restoration knowledge is, essentially. Two together, are complete healing that goes beyond the source of pain. If only Bruce knew how to use it properly...maybe not so much relief meds he would have used to defeat the pain. Pain does not defeat itself...but we can have dialog that creates a pull back of force we no longer require to relax fascia into "ready" state, but it waits until needed. The pain, stays because we're still fighting in our monkey brains...when things get to peace, let them be as such...relax, there is no battle, other than the one within. Conquer and defeat, then exit the arena and be kind and of peace outwardly again. How it works...no mystery really, unless we wish it so. Is it so? Always the question...Zen story quote...interesting one too.
there is two thoughts, in my view , on this . 1 No Pain No Gain or Pain is Weakness leaving the body. 2 if it is painful, that is your body telling you to not do that. Its is funny because I believe both are true at the same time.

Can you imagine what advantage these kids would have with such solid foundation early on in their lives, both physically and mentally, vs those teens who spend better part of their waiting hours facebooking, snap chatting...?
@@big-ass-nugget i was there in september 2019 with the intention of training there for three months. There were very few kids at the temple. They had all been sent to kaifeng because authorities closed down a lot of the schools in the dengfeng area. The video is 5 years old or older. You might find some action in the summer but definitely not the kind of the video

I love the footage but it disturbs me that student look at the camera. Feels like the camera person isn't keeping a great distance which is pretty rude.
@@nomadicshai No, the kids who came to the school were from a Chinese international school nearby to train/have the experience at the temple -- sort of like a cultural experience in this case. I'm assuming G.T. is thinking that they are foreigners who came to train for a week - people often just do it for the experience or to learn Kung Fu basics.
@@yunfeigao5217 i went to fawang temple to train after seeing footage like this. I was there in september 2019. It was very bad. There were no teachers worthwhile. The main sifu from Fawang lives in france.
So sad Fa Wang temple is now a recreation area. All the teachers have gone . Everything collapse. Less then 40 students , no Master .. my experience there was absolutely worthless ( October 2019)

Many of those children are in physical and mental distress, pain and discomfort while performing some tasks. But they are also under pressure and fear from their tutors, peer pressure, or actually being struck with a stick by their menors if they do not complete tasks, and that is wrong as people have different physical and mental capabilites and genetic structure. This would actually be classed as abuse and wouldn't be allowed in many countries of the world these days !

Somewhat true, although training in a mountain with monks could strengthen your mind and thought on life, but for pure fighting and defending yourself it would be much better to go to an MMA gym and train Muay Thai, Kickboxing, and Brazilian jiu jiutsu.
