this is late but amp is a group of streamers in this new age of small attention span people who grew up on social media. where faze started from cod trickshotting and sniping.they blew up just off gaming which was not a thing at the time unless you had a esports team.they only got esports team when teeqo became a big piece of the group.i like both groups personally but they are very different in what they started as.

Faze was definitely the niggas who paved the way for A) content creator groups/org/ clan, and B) content houses that actually thrived. Faze either started one of those and/or popularized the other. On no planet can you simultaneously agree on kicking clipz, Lucas, kitty, dirty, sensei while being happy with Tommy and Ricky at the top. Sensei never really stopped (he has the podcast with wade that a lot of people don’t know about) and was real life content (the new direction supposedly) Lucas stopped the same time all the ogs including banks and Tommy so they can’t say it’s cause he wasn’t posting and he’s one of the top cultural pieces, can’t be grinding cause people like kitty never even slowed up and he was keeping the roots alive with gaming. Can’t be contribution cause they kicked a legitimate freaking founder being clips. What does banks bring other than delegation that none of these other guys did? And delegation is something anyone can do. Shoulda been apex or nordan making decisions. This was the biggest bullsht corporate move yet banks trying to preach on breaking away from that. Yea they kicked a legitimate founder without notice, a cultural foundational piece that was in the NY house with no reason, another NY house guy who was the FIRST member for real life content with not just no reason didn’t even tell him. Just let him find out on twitter like the rest. They kicked out grinders for gaming. So whether it be cultural, gaming, real life, founding the freaking clan, all with a decades worth of loyalty, it didn’t matter and they pulled the biggest corporate a** move.
