They are investigating the agitators that aren't students, that come on the campuses and influence the students. They are creating the chaos and destructive behavior. They've also begun investigations into the money trail and the deep state financial backers of these organized protests. Each one of those tents is $500. Not to mention the cost of gas masks and hard hats the protesters are supplied with at UCLA and other campuses.

Police beat peaceful protestors at Columbia before anyone even thought of occupying the building. No "rocks, water bottles, or fists" were used; it was done in the dead of night. When police arrived, the people in the building came out peacefully. Our constitution gives people the right of "free speech" (with certain limitations) and "peaceful assembly", even if this may inconvenienced others at times. Universities, especially, have the obligation of granting "academic freedom" and create conditions that promote constitutional rights, such as speech and assembly. By criminalizing speech and protest, THEY HAVE MORALLY FAILED.

They went into Gaza as a result of a decades long "peaceful" occupation. Lol The USA overthrew democracy in Iran (1954), backed the Mujahideen in Afghanistan (including Obama Bin Laden), unleashed ISIS by invading Iraq (a marginal organisation prior to that), backed Al qaeda aligned militias in Libya (the future Manchester Arena bombers had surveillance measures lifted and passports returned by the British state, enabling them to train with one of those militias), then extremists spread throughout Syria in the US backed proxy war. 4.5 - 4.7 million people have been killed in post 9/11 US war zones, and over 38 million people have been displaced. That's excluding the latest violence, in which about another Million Palestinians have been displaced. What's the US gained?
